Xiaomi is getting ready to launch a new series or sub-brand for tech enthusiasts. The brand's upcoming line-up could include a range of smartphones along with some tablets. The devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm 700 series chipsets. #Xiaomi

India's tech enthusiast segment has been largely acquired by brands like OnePlus and Google. However, the country hasn't seen many Pixel phones in recent years, and OnePlus appears to have switched to more mainstream devices.
In such a case, Xiaomi intends to appeal to this category, a market that the company has largely overlooked ever since it shifted away from Android One.
Xiaomi may either revive its A-series or come up with a new smartphone line-up. A sub-brand remains a possibility. The upcoming devices are said to run on stock Android. They could be backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series chipsets.
Xiaomi's upcoming smartphones are likely to cost between Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 25,000. The entry-level models are tipped to feature a Snapdragon 765 processor, whereas the top-tier offerings might use a Snapdragon 778 chipset.
Xiaomi is reportedly interested in the tech enthusiast segment because OnePlus and Google haven't been paying much attention to this market. It was only recently when the latter introduced a new Pixel smartphone, after a two-year gap.

Kushkal village in Palanpur, Gujarat is home to about 700 people, however, the real millionaires are the dogs that live there. According to villagers, ancestors of this non-descript village had allotted 20 bighas of agricultural land solely for stray dogs in this place.
When Palanpur was under the Nawab rule, the ruler had distributed a few pieces of land among the villagers. However, villagers thought that while they can easily earn their livelihood and feed themselves, it was important to keep the stray dogs well-fed.

The Centre issued an advisory on the new 'mystery virus' tomato flu on Tuesday, the newest ailment in India. According to experts, this infectious disease is reportedly a variant of Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HMFD) targeting young children.

The advisory was issued after more than 100 cases were reported in Kerala, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and Haryana. The Health Ministry noted that much like other viral infections, patients witness fever, rashes, and joint pain.
According to the ministry, the ailment was first reported in Kollam, Kerala on May 6 & has since infected more than 82 children under 5 years of age. "To date, apart from Kerala, TN, Haryana & Odisha, no other regions...have reported the disease," the advisory stated.

A Tesla owner found an interesting solution to end his struggle of finding car keys by implanting them in his hand. Extreme? Not for Brandon Dalaly. He shared a video of the chip getting installed in his hand & later using it to unlock the car with ease.

The chip implanted in Dalaly's hand is called Vivokey Apex. It uses NFC technology to interact with the car. Vivokey Apex runs small software programs called Java Card applets. You can wirelessly install apps into the chip and then use them.
The applet used for unlocking Tesla is called 'Not A (Tesla®) Keycard,' which can be paired with Tesla Model 3 at the moment. In the video, Dalaly had to rub against the car for it to unlock. He said the video was filmed "three days after implantation & there was still swelling."
