Joe Biden has no constitutional authority to unilaterally strike down student loan debt. Congress must act to allow this to occur. The Supreme Court will strike down this move. The Biden administration knows this. Which is why this is simply a craven political move for midterms.
Almost all media arguments will focus on whether this is a good idea or not. The real story is it’s blatantly unconstitutional. But it won’t be struck down until well after the midterms. When that happens Democrats will blame the court in 2024 campaign.
The real question all should be asking is this: if taking on 300+ billion in student loan debt for the American taxpayer is politically popular, why didn’t Biden introduce legislation & pass this with Democrat majorities in House and Senate? Because Congress wouldn’t pass it.
This is essentially the eviction moratorium extension all over again. The president is acting unilaterally outside his own powers, & he knows it, for entirely political reasons. Media should do a better job explaining this. But they won’t. Because most media are Dem cheerleaders.

Joe Biden, even after four covid shots, still is testing positive for covid 15 days after first testing positive. It’s almost as if the covid shot is total and complete shit.
Name another “vaccine” that you can get four shots for in a little over a year and still get the virus for over two weeks.
Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson should be forced to return all their profits for the covid shots to the American taxpayer. And their protection from all lawsuits should be rescinded. They’ve made tens of billions off a product that doesn’t work. And harms many.

I’ve never seen anything like the Democrat obsession with Donald Trump. He broke their brains. He’s been out of office for 18 months — the entire country has gone to shit with Joe Biden in office & Democrat control of the House & Senate — and yet it’s still all Trump. Wild.
We’ve got forty year high inflation, cities are setting all time highs for murders all over the country, gas prices just set an all time high, the border is wide open, hell, moms can’t even find baby formula, and Democrats see all this going on and focus on Trump?!
This all seems crazy until you realize what’s really going on: being anti-Trump is the only thing that unites Democrats. It’s truly all they have. He is their oxygen. Look at TV ratings. Fox News is fine without Trump. MSNBC & CNN are dying. Dems need Trump more than Republicans.

Honest question: we’ve had widely available guns in this country for hundreds of years. Why did mass school shootings only really start in the late 1990’s with Columbine? What changed to make this happen after 200 years where they mostly didn’t? I’m interested in opinions.
My own hypothesis is that Columbine unleashed a massive amount of copycats. Mentally ill people, who might not have otherwise considered the idea, saw the Columbine killers become famous and sought to replicate their notoriety and “fame.”
It’s why I don’t share any mass shooter names. Because I think the media attention and “fame” motivates this behavior to a large degree. I think the single most impactful thing any single individual can do to combat mass shootings is not to share shooter names.

Steve Kerr, who last night demanded new gun laws to keep kids safe, protested to demand the removal of all armed police from schools two years go. nbcbayarea.com/news/local/eas…
The fact not one media member last night — & there were dozens — asked Kerr to explain how his new demand for gun laws to protect kids squares with his prior demands to remove police from schools & defund the police is further proof of how worthless most sports media is.
Kerr, presently being hailed as a hero by left wing sports media, is actually a coward emblematic of many on social media. He has passionate opinions on whatever people are emotional about, even if it directly contradicts his prior emotional opinions.

Just to make it clear where we are: our government mandated 100% healthy people get covid shots provided by for profit companies or lose their jobs & is now telling us that one of the shots they told us to take isn’t safe & has life threatening side effects.
Our government also told us two covid shots would keep us from getting or spreading covid, sought to ban anyone who suggested otherwise, before later admitting it neither kept you from getting or spreading covid.
Our government also told us it wasn’t safe for our kids to go to school in person — even though kids have a statistically 0% risk from covid — & that we all had to wear masks, including two year olds, even though there is no data to support masks making any of us safer.

The left wing blue check panic over @elonmusk potentially buying @twitter is glorious. All the blue checks who have lectured us for years by saying, “It’s a private company, if you don’t like it, leave” are panicking like crazy over their echo chambers being challenged. Love. It.
I expect @twitter’s board has been furiously searching for an additional bidder since Elon Musk began purchasing his shares. Absent a second bidder, Musk has won no matter what the board decides. If they reject him he can buy the company at market or put together a coalition.
The board may well say they believe bid undervalues company & attempt to stall for additional bidder, but Musk can call their bluff by forming a coalition of shareholders to accept the offer via proxy or he can buy control himself on the open market. He wins absent higher bidder.
