I don't like talking about my personal life on here but I want to show you the reality of life on benefits, I am a carer for my son also disabled, benefits are under £10,000 a year ,my current electricity alone is £86 a week that's over £4,000 a year, if the predictions are

Correct my electricity alone will be £8944 a year,so £66 aweek for gas,council tax,TV licence,food,pet food,cleaning materials water, even toilet roll,the government are giving me an extra £1,300 to help this year,that's £25 a week to pay for everything,what am I supposed to do?

So the help that were getting in October isn't in October after all ,its going to be over six months,quick calculation £400 over six months is £66 a month 😳 is that going to help you ?,it won't help me ,my energy bills are going to be £145 a week every week, so their measly £66

A month won't even cover one week in fact not even half a week,at this point they can shove it who decides these prices ?,this is greed by the energy companies, by the government who will be getting more VAT,what are we going to do,the government are standing idly by while people

Everyday ,I'm so angry at myself for not having the disrespect for the law and not just saying "so what" I'm going to comfort my dying brother,you talk about how important family is what do you think this has done to his family left behind to mourn him,you talk about the future

But what about now!!,you know the story of Elsie riding the bus during the winter months to keep warm ,she's paid into the system in various ways is she not entitled to some pride and dignity in her later years?you talk about the children's future but what about the children now?
