Buckle up friends, this is going to be good. For those of you who are new here, my daughter’s preschool teacher is serving a 20 year prison sentence on child porn charges.
What some may not know, is that I sued the school. After my psychologist called CPS on this teacher on my behalf while I was in her office, the school made my life a living hell. I told them I was not letting my daughter come back, but I still had a job to maintain
Even more so when just one month later, a student came to me who worked in the after care program, and stated that she didn’t know what to do because an “influential” employee at the school’s daughter, strangled another little girl. I told her I would help her speak to the head of the aftercare program. The head of the after care program said she was “scared to confront the individual”.

The History teacher in me needs to do this. History does not exist in a vacuum, nor does history justify killing and war. But, it is historically incorrect to boil this conflict down from 1948-present. I never thought providing history, in an unbiased way would be a scary thing to do, but here goes. This area of the world has never been JUST an Israeli place or JUST a Palestinian place. It’s so much more.
Bronze Age: 3300-1200 BC, Canaanites establish independent city states and adopted practiced a pagan religion with multiple dieties
Iron Age: 1200-550 BC, 2 kingdoms Israelites and Judah controlled the area practicing a monotheistic religion, Judaism. The Phillistines also controlled the coastal portion of the area (a group that originated in the Agean and died out in 604). The name Palestine is first seen by the Greeks in 500 to describe the area.

2/6 What are Confucius Institutes? The Confucius Institute program (est in about 2011) was formerly under Hanban, an organization affiliated with the Chinese government. 3/6 Where does that money go? In my research, that money (most school board minutes are open source and you can find the gift and it’s allocation online), was for the most part, used to subsidize the salaries of Chinese language teachers at the K-12 schools.
