Easiest to answer. BHA have been imperious in defence and currently look like the A* kids in class. Other keepers have played really well and brought home the bag but you wouldn't trust those defences to keep a clean sheet.
Pick: Sanchez
🛡️ Q2: Budget DEFs
With big-at-the-back seemingly dead, I've gone for more budget picks. With none of the WBs wanting to stand-out, I've gone for a recently strong performer and a potential gem of a bargain in the coming weeks.
Picks: Gabriel + Fofana
🏗️ Q3: MID Overhaul
Current MID is made up of great value I picked up early (+ Salah). With his underperformance, I've switched to KDB, upgraded 3 spots and left the 4th as the best current value pick: Gross.
Picks: KDB, Berny, Diaz, Gross
🥅 Q4: FWDs
Need I explain more? I like the Darwin pick in a few weeks, but these 3 pick themselves. Ownership makes Jesus indipensable, and the other two are banging them in. Prefer Mitro to Toney, but wouldnt have the money anyway.
Picks: Jesus, Haal, Mitro
Hope it's been helpful to see where my mind is at with ideal WC squads.

With consecutive starts, Perisic is becoming the standout performer at DEF. He's one of 4 teams that appear to be playing very high wing-backs and his attacking stats sell themselves:
- 11.3 pts/90,
- 0.81 adj. xGI,
- 0.94 xGA
✅ BUY
TAA's been grinding my gears recently. Poor attackign returns and a shaky LIV defence has made him highly overpriced. A return against BOU is only a band-aid, I'm continuing to monitor:
At current prices, who's your top midfield value pick? Comment any other suggestions below:
Rodrigo came up against an astute BHA defence and blanked this GW. Despite that, his underlying stats were still strong, and he remains the value pick of choice at the moment. He leads various categories:
Luis Diaz is a pick I'm looking at closely (and 2 weeks late...) but with Salah underperforming massively, and my attention being grabbed by other midfield options, Diaz provides a route back into the LIV front 3 at a very good price.
