⚽️ Goal 1 = given the ball wide right. Drove into the box. Cross was block. The 2nd phase cross was then scored by Diaz

⚽️ Goal 2 = given the ball wide right. Drove into the box. Little pass into Firmino, who fumbled to Elliot to shoot & score

⚽️ Goal 3 = no involvement. TAA could have given it to Salah wide on the right but shot & scored from outside the box

⚽️ Goal 4 = given the ball wide right. Drove to the edge of the box. His pass was deflected into the box & Firmino scored as a direct result

⚽️ Goal 5 = no involvement. Headed goal from a corner

⚽️ Goal 6 = picked the ball up inside the opposition’s half. Played it wide right to TAA. His cross resulted in an OG

⚽️ Goal 7 = long pass picked up on the halfway line. He drove into the box & won a corner. The goal came from the resulting set piece

⚽️ Goal 8 = no involvement

⚽️ Goal 9 = picked up the ball wide on the right. Drove towards the box, taking 2 defenders on & won a corner. The goal came from the resulting set piece

Other involvements to note…

🛑 Missed an open goal from 2 yards. Came into the box from a wide right position & put the cross from the left side over the bar

🛑 Created a big chance for Firmino but his shot from outside the box was well saved

🛑 Missed a big chance when running onto a pass inside 8 yards. His shot went over the bar

🛑 Created a big chance for Milner but his shot from inside the box was well saved

OVERALL SUMMARY…

He had direct involvement in 6 of the 9 goals. There is no question that he was a huge part of the game. On another day he could have / should have had a hatrick & could have had at least 3 assists.
