#Arbitrum recently announced Nova and also has planned to implement its major upgrade, called Nitro, in the coming days. To clear up the confusion let’s briefly discuss what #Nova and #Nitro are.
1/
#Nitro
The Nitro upgrade, going live tomorrow, is aimed to be a better version of the current Arbitrum network.
One of the major problems with Arbitrum was its high gas fees, especially during the #Odyssey load. Nitro upgrade will decrease the gas fees through
2/
Advanced Call Data Compression. Nitro will also bring additional L1 compatibility for developers. I’ll leave the technical explanations for the technical guys.
3/
#Nova
Arbitrum Nova, launched earlier this month, is a new chain intended for social and gaming applications that require very low fees.
4/
Nova is built using Arbitrum’s AnyTrust Technology and brings the following advantages:
- Ultra-low transaction costs
- Fast transactions with rapid block times
- Enabling new blockchain primitives
5/
There are some NFT collections on Stratos Nova marketplace. These collections might not be from real projects, so I don’t recommend buying any. If you want to have transactions on this network, you mint a free NFT. nova.stratosnft.io/launchpad/0x2c…
6/
You will only need to pay gas fees, so you may use the following bridges to transfer some ETH.
Arbitrum Bridge: bridge.arbitrum.io
Orbiter orbiter.finance

Privacy may be one of the most important concerns for many crypto users. In this thread, I’d like to briefly explain what @zCloakNetwork is and why is it important.
1/
zCloak Network, a privacy-preserving computing platform, enables a new computation paradigm where people can do computation/analysis of their data in the client device. The title “prove who you are, without telling who you are” clearly describes what the zCloak is.
2/
But how is this possible? Thanks to #ZKP.
Zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) is a cryptographic technology in which one party can prove to another party that a given statement is true without showing the data.

Why should we care about web3 quests and achievements? 🧵
In this thread, I’m highlighting some benefits of the on-chain achievements and will also list some web3 quests platforms.
1/
Let’s quickly discuss some negative points. Web3 quests have become popular and with that many projects are enjoying the free marketing. Completing the tasks could be very time consuming, cost you gas fees, and the rewards might not be worth all the work and efforts at all.
2/
But why do they matter then? I personally attempt to filter out the quests and tasks I find useful based on the project behind it, possible future rewards, potential for flipping it at a higher price, yet this isn’t all, I enjoy finding and learning about blockchain projects.
