In another time and place, Johnny Depp's performance on the stand in his VA defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard would have been the stuff of late night comedy. The blood fingerpainting, the corpse lust, the pretentious monologues would have been seen for what they are.
A fading Hollywood A-list actor's attempt to regain his glory by creating a stage show about a woman ruining his life would have been seen for what it is: pathetic narcissism.
