(📢) A key fact legal analysts are missing today: according to prior major media reporting, in late 2021 Trump began going through the classified records *himself* to decide what he was willing to return. It was after this curation that records were removed from the storage area.
(📢) And we now know where those records were removed to: Trump’s private spaces within Mar-a-Lago, including a closet in his office. When the FBI arrived in June, Trump greeted them but wouldn’t answer questions. He left his lawyers to speak to them, knowing what they would say.
(📢) The lawyers Trump left with the FBI in June falsely represented that everything relevant to the May subpoena had been turned over *and* refused to let the FBI look in the storage area, clear evidence that they knew what Trump had done and were aiding and abetting his crime.
(📢) But even more importantly, Trump’s late 2021 curation and removal of the materials he stole from D.C. began a course of criminal Obstruction that now has the further result of establishing his consciousness of guilt: he well knew he wasn’t supposed to have what he’d stolen.
(📢) So Trump knew he had stolen goods of incalculable value and sorted through the stolen goods in advance of an FBI search to remove those he considered most valuable. Why? To ensure they wouldn’t fall into the hands of law enforcement. Why? Because he had other plans for them.
(📢) CONCLUSION: It’s now actually inconceivable that Donald Trump will not be federally indicted on multiple charges.

This is why he had a meltdown publicly yesterday. This is why his allies are threatening violence. Everyone knows what is coming now. It has become unavoidable.
(📢) PS: Another miss by some analysts: insurrectionist Christina Bobb’s false statement to the FBI in June 2022 began, “Based upon the information that has been provided to me...” The common legal phrase is “based upon information *and belief*...” Bobb was *telegraphing* that...
(📢) PS2: ...she was merely passing on information that’d been given to her—which information she had clearly received from the man who supervised her meeting with the FBI before disappearing: Trump himself. She was flatly refusing to say that she believed her statement was true.
(📢) PS3: So not only did Trump know he was committing crimes, his lawyers knew as well and were trying to protect themselves. This suggests that when DOJ indicts Bobb—as it should and even must—she’ll flip on Trump because Trump’s words to her weren’t attorney-client privileged.
(📢) PS4: An attorney not only cannot commit any crimes themselves—the same as anyone else—but they cannot assist a client in an ongoing or future crime and then subsequently claim communications pursuant to that collusion are privileged. The “crime-fraud exception” precludes it.
(And I’ll just add here that the FBI source in Trump’s inner circle must be *exceedingly* highly placed if the FBI is *so confident* that after Trump's late 2021 curation he didn’t remove any documents to other Trump properties that it’s decided to *not even search any of them*.)

(🔐) EXCLUSIVE: New, Possibly Criminal Misconduct By Trump’s Legal Team Has Just Been Revealed

This stunning revelation arose just today—it’s *not* about last night’s DOJ filing—and could cause an earthquake in Trump’s ongoing court cases. Please RETWEET. sethabramson.substack.com/p/exclusive-ne…
1/ From the very moment the mysterious Alina Habba appeared on Trump’s legal team, she’s been controversial. She does not have the experience to the work on the issues she is working on, appears to be a fringe radical, and got Trump’s attention by being a member of his golf club.
2/ Nevertheless, she’s either been put in charge or has put herself in charge—per Bloomberg—of consolidating the legal strategy to *all* Trump’s civil and criminal cases across at least three jurisdictions (Florida, New York, and Georgia). And in that role, she has gone hog wild.

Kise is a *very* good friend of Brian Ballard and used to represent Venezuela.

We’re getting closer and closer to the Trump-Venezuela scandal finally becoming breaking news. Just so, the Trump-Brazil connection to January 6 just got closer to the surface. nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna4…
1/ Remember, the Pentagon coup plot depended on Trump getting “evidence” from shady Venezuelan and Brazilian nationals falsely suggesting the 2020 presidential election was hacked by Venezuela and a consortium of communist nations. Now Trump hires a lawyer with this background?
2/ The inner circle of Trump associates at the heart of January 6 were *obsessed* with using the political divisions in Venezuela and the pro-Trump Brazilian government’s hostility to the Venezuelan government to extract manufactured disinformation about Biden *and* the election.

There’s no obvious reason for the FBI to believe Trump stored classified records at Mar-a-Lago but at none of his other properties (nor that he never *transferred* records to another property), so either their source is claiming he didn’t or the FBI is not doing its job properly.
And here’s an interesting corollary to that: either the FBI sources inside Trump’s inner circle are *equally familiar* with conditions on the ground at Bedminster and Trump Tower as Mar-a-Lago—and therefore know what is there or not—or again, the FBI isn’t doing its job properly.
If the FBI’s sources are only familiar with what’s happening at Mar-a-Lago,—and the FBI found thousands and thousands of pages of stolen records there but opted not to search other Trump properties despite having no visibility into what’s at those other properties—it’s a problem.

BREAKING NEWS: After the U.S. Secret Service Promised the House January 6 Committee It Would Compel Employees—Foremost Among Them Tony Ornato—to Testify Comprehensively About What They Saw Trump Do on January 6, Ornato Quits the Service to Avoid Testifying cnn.com/2022/08/29/pol…
PS/ I know a Keith Schiller-style Trump lackey when I see one. This man should now be the number-one investigative target for DOJ and the FBI—and if he isn’t it’s the result of incompetence inside those agencies and heads should roll. Ornato is clearly a key January 6 eyewitness.
PS2/ Now the HJ6C will subpoena him; he’ll hire a lawyer Trump’s chosen; Trump will regularly call him (or direct him via intermediaries) in an ongoing course of criminal witness tampering; and if necessary he’ll go to jail for Trump. But DOJ will lose its nerve long before then.

(📢) Now that Republicans are promising mass violence if DOJ does its job and prosecutes the federal criminal Donald Trump, it’s urgent that we understand what’s really at stake in the Trump records scandal. I hope you’ll RETWEET this PROOF exclusive (🔐). sethabramson.substack.com/p/exclusive-th…
PROOF published this report on Friday night due to the urgency of its topic—providing a unique view, from a leading Trump biographer, of a national security scandal that has engulfed America—but I know many leave Twitter on weekends and will now be seeing this for the first time.
Following the publication of this report, there was much discussion on Twitter of Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) threatening “riots” if Trump were arrested for crimes he not only self-evidently committed but has essentially confessed to publicly. “Riots” and “Hawley” trended on Twitter.

(📢) It only took four and a half years, but Trump has finally acknowledged the Trumplandia Conspiracy and the True Pundit Hoax—both orchestrated by his lawyers and associates—as the sole reason he became president in the first place. Major media still has yet to tell this story.
(PS) What’s really scary—and what those who don’t understand the Trumplandia Conspiracy and True Pundit Hoax will miss—is that Donald Trump is only acknowledging these past crimes as a means of *again* making a public call for rogue agents at the FBI to attack American democracy.
(PS2) Understand also the level of desperation Trump must be feeling if he’s willing to openly discuss how his team orchestrated the theft of the 2016 presidential election by blackmailing then-FBI director Comey using rogue FBI agents represented and assisted by Trump’s lawyers.
