I Have Posted 500+ Videos on YouTube

And gained 14 million views, 111k+ subscribers and $200k in sales

Here Are 7 Dead Simple Strategies I Used ( That’ll Grow Your Channel Too)

-Thread🧵-
1. Do Research

If your quality videos are not getting views, nobody may be searching for that topic

How to do quick research:

• Use YT autocomplete
• Use an extension like VidiQ and check the volume for a keyword
• What channels your subscribers are watching
2. Engage With Your Audience

Engagement comes in two parts:

1. While Recording

• Guide your audience to comment on the video or check another video
• Ask their opinion and problems

2. After Publishing

• Reply to the comments
• Take suggestions and solve problems
3. Create Playlists

This is an underrated way to grow your channel

YouTube will prioritise your videos if people are watching multiple videos from your playlist

If you have many videos, group them as a playlist

That's why teaching something through your videos is important
4. Don't Ignore Thumbnails

Thumbnails are your first contact with your potential audience

A few thumb rules for thumbnails:
• Use your image
• Use minimum words
• Choose good colours
• Stay consistent with the design*

*You will confuse viewers if you change design too much
5. Pay Attention to The Title And The Hook

You know the importance of hooks in tweets & threads

The same is true for YouTube as well

A good title is:

• Short
• To the point
• Creates a curiosity gap

A good title doubles as a good hook as well
6. Deliver On The Promise

Click-baits can get clicks but they won't help you retain the audience

Don't promise something you can't deliver upon

You love your favourite YouTubers because you trust them

People will watch your videos & return if you deliver on your promise
7. Answer the "Whys"

This is the one secret that helped me grow

Good YouTube videos answer why something is right, wrong, this way or that way

Bad YouTube videos don't do that

Study the topic and go deeper than anyone else to answer those whys
7 Strategies to Grow Your YouTube Channels:

1. Do Research
2. Engage
3. Create Playlists
4. Create Cool Thumbnails
5. Pay Attention to The Title and The Hook
6. Deliver on The Promise
7. Answer the 'Whys'
That's a wrap!

What you'll learn:

• Finding a niche
• What to focus on
• A process for video creation and posting
• The key things to keep in mind as you go ahead
• Ideas for more videos
1. Find An Unsaturated Niche

You won't initially get views if you talk about broader topics such as productivity, habits, lifestyle etc

Teach something or solve a specific problem

Try to learn a skill solely through YT and you will find the gaps

Make videos to close that gap
