After carefully engineering the rules of the race to limit the visibility, time and fundraising abilities of the candidates and having me expelled from the race Elisabeth May has paved the way for her election as party leader. #cdnpoli #gpcldr

This leadership race is already over. All of the candidates will shy away from criticizing her record and instead angle for favorable treatment from her as leader. #cdnpoli #gpcldr

I have appealed my expulsion from the party over my opposition to the Alberta tar sands and the war in Ukraine but the appeals process is painfully slow and a decision is unlikely to be issued any time soon.

This race is rigged. Candidates are not permitted to share their political views with the membership, debates are limited and we are more likely to see candidates playing monopoly, or singing karaoke than actually debating politics, policy and the way forward. #cdnpoli #gpcldr

Elizabeth May and the party establishment are afraid of eco-socialist candidates like myself because they know that our policies resonate with the membership. #cdnpoli #gpcldr

They expelled me from this race and from the federal party at a time when I am the third most senior Green Party leader in the country at just 34 years old and have strong support and visibility across the country. #cdnpoli #gpcldr

If Elizabeth May wants to unite the party, she knows how to reach me, but I do not expect her to change her ways and suddenly embrace the left but my door is always open. For the time being I will be concentrating my efforts on leading the Green Party of Quebec. #cdnpoli #gpcldr
