The 4th Circuit issued its mandate today in Call v. Jones, formalizing its instructions to the lower court to dismiss the case as moot. The State is issuing permits in compliance with the Supreme Court's opinion in NYSRPA v. Bruen, leaving nothing at issue in Call. #MDpolitics 
That prior order was to grant parties' joint motion to remand the case and dismiss as moot.

Since Bruen was decided in June, the State Police have seen more than 35,000 carry permit applications, with ~900 being submitted weekly. Approvals are currently taking 50 days or so.
