The group accuses LA Council-member Mitch O'Farrell (D) of "forcing cops into our pride event every year."
One tore, stomped on, and drew on the cardboard cutout's head, and explained that "Mitch, oh bitch, no cops at pride. Killing queer people, it's quite literally a crime."
"Mitch O'Farrell, you can't hide, we charge you with genocide!" chanted the group as they blockaded outside the Democratic City Council-member's booth at the LA Pride event.
O'Farrell didn't show up at the event as originally planned.
Ultimately, the #NoCopsAtPride activist apparently leading the event grabbed the banner off of LA Councilman Mitch O'Farrell (D)'s table and ran away with it.
Chris Reyes, who was wearing a shirt with the crossed out word "Groomers" on it, struggled from mace in his eyes as he was pulled away by police in handcuffs.
Him being maced is visible 25 seconds into the previous tweet.
He was later reportedly released.
Here is the full @N2Sreports video of the brawling and protesting that led up to it yesterday in Riverside, California outside the local LGBTQ+ Pride event.

Following the passage of legislation sponsored by NY State Senator Joseph Addabbo Jr. (D), the sale of whipped cream to under-21's is now illegal in New York.
Whipped cream dealers will be required to ID-check anyone who appears under the age of 25.
According to the bill, whipped cream dealers (like grocery stores and bodegas) will face $250 fines for selling to under-21's, with that doubling to $500 for subsequent offenses.
The bill does not penalize possession or purchase by whipped cream users.
- @SenJoeAddabbo notes that it is not the whipped cream itself, but "the small, individual charger or cartridge inside the whipped cream canisters that is the target of the law."
The law doesn't exempt chargers *inside* a whipped cream canister.
Thread: After a fresh, close look at my January 6 footage, I discovered something in the chaos I didn't know I captured:
On the Capitol East side, Capitol Police Lieutenant Tarik Khalid Johnson is in my footage wearing a MAGA hat and shouting into a bullhorn.
In the clip before he is seen with MAGA cap, USCP Lieutenant Johnson can be seen entering with officers tailed by several Oath Keepers.
Footage by YouTuber Rico La Starza () shows Johnson wearing the cap and asking for Oathkeepers' help moments earlier.
In my subsequent shot, Capitol Police Lieutenant Tarik Khalid Johnson can be seen wearing a MAGA cap and yelling into a bullhorn while leading several officers out of the building, followed by protesters.
Today @rogerwaters spoke out outside the DOJ to call on Merrick Garland to free @wikileaks publisher Julian Assange.
"All you can do is keep doing what you're doing. Never, ever shut up," he told anti-war and pro-Assange activists.
"Free Assange!"
"Merrick Garland, do your job. It's so obvious what the right thing to do is," said @rogerwaters.
"Merrick Garland, do the right thing. Free Julian Assange at lunchtime today, please."
"Thank you all, I love you all," he told the activists supporting Assange.
Here is my full @N2Sreports video of Roger Waters speaking today outside the Department of Justice demanding freedom for Julian Assange, who faces 175 years in American prison.
The Las Vegas government is ramping up its fight against the homeless: Joey Lankwoski bought a plot of land to begin building “tiny homes” for houseless people to use as a stepping stone.
So the local government sought a warrant and bulldozed it.
KTNV reports that no local businesses or neighbors complained, but a local government employee noticed the new resource for the homeless using recycled material for a fence, so they got a warrant and the government bulldozed everything.
The idea behind the tiny homes on this property was that the homeless would have the peace of mind from a lock and key.
The local government’s justification for bulldozing it all is that the property is zoned for a single-family home which must exceed 1200 square feet.
