As per Chahal, BMC has received complaints about 49 such studios that came up between 2021 & 2022 in no-development zone (NDZ) of the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ)

There are allegations that thousands of square meters of such studios are built without proper permission, fraudulent documents forged with the help of BMC & MCZMA officials," Chahal stated in a written order

MCZMA falls under the state*s Dept of Environment, which was headed by Aaditya Thackeray between 2021 & July 2022

After BJP leaders like @KiritSomaiya @BhatkhalkarA @Yogeshsagar09 @iGopalShetty and others raised it & then BMC issued stop-work notices to a few of them on Aug 25

Chahal has asked the probe committee to conduct the enquiry within 4 weeks. "The enquiry report should include aspects specifying role played by BMC officials. The inquiry officer is also directed to propose action to be taken by BMC & other measures to prevent such wrongdoings”

It’s such a shame that when under AUT,thousands of sq meters of land is ENCROACHED by his Bollywood friends in delicate CRZ in a 1000 crore scam, while Marathi Manoos of #PatraChawl scam is still waiting for roof over head for decades
