Reality of IITs🔶

Myth : Nehru had given the idea of IITs.

Reality: The idea of IITs were firstly purposed by Ardeshir Dalal even before independence. (1/8)

From 1951 to 1961, in total 5 IITs were setup.

In next 30 years congress govt. never realise that india need more IITs.

Due to which student agitation in Assam forced Rajiv Gandhi to set up new IIT in guwahati.

Almost after 34 years, in 1995 , IIT Guwahati started.

After then BJP came in power. And what BJP did was actually very amazing.

#NAAMKARAN.

BJP changes the name of an University of Roorkee to IIT Roorkee. And this way India got its 7th IIT in 2001.

Now in 2008 at a sudden just before 1 year of election, congress finally realise that in 60 years, INDIA has only 7 IITs. That's why at a sudden they had started 8 more new IITs whose campus were also not constructed. for ex- IIT Patna, IIT Ropar etc...(4/8)

In renaming process, Congress also not stays behind the BJP.

IT-BHU renamed as IIT BHU.
ISM DHANBAD renamed as IIT (Process started). completed in MODIJI TENURE. #WahmodijiWah.(5/8)

And in 2016 , Modiji laid the foundation of 6 new IITs whose construction work i think will completed in next .... years. So, India have currently 23 IITs in total. (6/8)

Conclusion : In 70 years, Congress built just 14 IITs and renamed 2.

And BJP in its 1 tenure , renamed 1. And in last 2 tenure, renamed 1 and proposed construction of 6 new IITs. (7/8)

So, now if you see there are approximately 16,598 seats in all 23 IITs. And every year approx. 10 lakh students gives entrance test. Means just 1.5% student got chance to read in IITs.

Will cong. and bjp. tell the youth of nation what the remaining are supposed to do???(8/8)
