Apart from the 2020-2025MHz band SpaceX seeks to use the 1610-1617.775 MHz & 2483.5-2500 MHz bands which @globalstar uses for the #iPhone14 sat service, considers "key assets" (globalstar.com/Globalstar/med…) & promotes to be co-utilized on the ground for small cells (Band 53).

SpaceX says "Globalstar, has enjoyed exclusive access to portions of the 1.6/2.4 GHz bands, even though the Commission did not provide Globalstar with perpetual exclusive use of the bands", believes "cutting-edge innovations" will ensure they don't cause intereference.

The application was filed 6-SEP-22, the day before the $AAPL + $GSAT deal was announced with the #iPhone14 premiere. This is the 2nd party after @KeplerComms challenging @globalstar's spectrum (licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe… - check "other filings" for Globalstar's opposition).

P.S.: "SpaceX has not yet submitted system information for ITU publication. SpaceX will submit
this information at the appropriate time to the Commission for filing through the U.S. [...]

Also worth noting:
Due to dilution by capital raises the shares of the 3 top shareholders have shrunk but that of Founders Fund did disproportionally: @elonmusk: -8.6% @foundersfund: -25.9% @google: -8.5%
Obviously Founders Fund have sold around 19% of their @SpaceX shares.

SpaceX laments the FCC's long lead times (original Gen2 filing pending for 1.5y, amendment for 5m) by which it justifies its *much earlier* ITU filing for Gen2 through Germany (p.8) & competitive risks from "asymmetric disclosures" b/c of transparent filing process in the US

Also worth noting: SpaceX claim it "was one of the last remaining NGSO operators to have been licensed
exclusively through the United States" when in fact its original Gen1 ITU filing was submitted through Norway (C/S: STEAM-1 & STEAM-2) and Gen2 apparently through Germany
