💮The Brahmastra, described in the Mahabharat, is the weapon which is said to be a single projectile charged with all the power of the Cosmos.💮
It's considered to be equivalent to the modern day Atomic Bomb.
Brahma is considered the Creator in Sanatan Dharma, and its believed that Brahmastra was created by him for the purpose of upholding Dharma & Satya, to be used by anyone who wished to destroy an enemy who would also happen to be a part of his (Brahma's) creation.
The target, when hit by Brahmastra, would be utterly destroyed. In Mahabharata era Parasurama , Bhishma,Drona ,Karna ,Kripa ,Ashwatthama,Arjuna,
Yudhishtir, Vikarna and few Maharathis possessed the knowledge to invoke Brahmastra weapon.
When a Brahmastra is discharged, neither a counterattack nor a defense of any kind can stop it. In ancient Sanskrit writings, the Brahmastra was a weapon created by Brahma, along with its more powerful versions like Brahmashirsha astra and Brahmanda astra.
Robert Oppenheimer (1904-1967) was a scientist, philosopher, bohemian, radical, fanatic of ancient Sanskrit literature,a theoretical physicist and the supervising scientist of the Manhattan Project, and most importantly, the developer of the atomic bomb.
Seven years after the first successful atom bomb blast test in New Mexico (Trinity), Dr. Oppenheimer was giving a lecture at Rochester University.
To the question “Was the bomb exploded at Alamogordo during the Manhattan project the first one to be detonated?” he gave a strange reply “Well — yes. In modern times, of course.”And as for Oppenheimer’s first words after the detonation of the bomb..
..he quoted from Hindu epic Mahabharata , “If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one. Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” (Bhagavad Gita)
It is thought that the Brahmashirsha astra is the evolution of the Brahmastra, 4 times stronger than Brahmastra. It is similar to modern day hydrogen bomb or thermonuclear (fusion) bomb.
In the epic Mahabharata, it is said that the weapon manifest with the four heads of Brahma as its tip. In Mahabharata era Parasurama,Bhishma, Drona,Karna, Ashwatthama,Arjuna possessed the knowledge to invoke this weapon.
This astra can be invoked by using sacred mantras into any object, even to a blade of grass .
Brahmastra was created for the purpose of upholding Dharma and Satya. So, we should not let these fake sickular Hindus ( like #RanbirKapoor and #AliaBhatt) to paint any other picture of Brahmastra for promoting their Anti Hindu Agenda.
Instead we should spare time to read and learn about the real actual thing.
Netaji Bose honored freedom fighter Shangara Singh Mann with Sardar-e-Jung and Vir-e-Hind medals for his bravery in battle against the British. Col Gurbaksh Singh Dhillon, who was tried in Red Fort (famous as INA trials) was present in the ceremony
when Netaji Bose pinned gallantry medals on Mann.
Shangara Singh Mann was a Captain in Netaji Bose’s Azad Hind Fauz (INA). This brave freedom fighter killed 50 Britishers and injured over 36 in the INA battle in Assam-Manipur against British in 1943.
He was badly wounded in the battle; bullet injury on his leg made him limp for several years.
After Shangara Singh Mann was caught by British, he was imprisoned in a cage-like jail (with space only to sit/stand and no space to sleep) in Red Fort during the INA trials.
🌺Vedic Cosmology: Geography of Jambudweep (mainly Asia)🌺
According to Vedic geography of terrestrial world, the earthly plane is much larger than we think. And we live in the smallest plane.
The seven islands of Jambu, Plakṣa, Śālmali, Kuś, Kraunch, Śāka and the seventh Puṣkar are surrounded on all sides by the seven oceans of salt water, sugarcane juice, wine, ghee, curd, milk and fresh water.
Here, these different oceans are based on the colour, taste, chemical properties etc. It used to be when there was no pollution.
Jambudweep is situated in the middle of all these concentric islands. In the middle of it is also the golden Sumeru(axis of universe).
