A small #CorsiRosenthalBox for travel.

I think there are a few of us who want a small #CRbox that would fit in an airplane carryon for a hotel.

Here's a recent attempt.

It's small (8" by 8" by 8")! And can pack up very small. But it's loud.

(Hint to Manufacturers: Price... $199-249, variable CADR rate 100 (<= 45 db @ 1meter) - 300 (<= 65 db @ 1meter), easily packs into "flat-ish" a 5-7L volume <= 10" on a side, assembly less than 3 minutes. ... oh, I can dream!)

Ingredients...

1x 200x60mm AC axial fan

1x fan controller

1x 20x30 piece of foam board

It's LOUD on max-volume. (76 db right next to it.) Don't want this by your head, but I slept for over a week with it at the foot of the bed. Tolerable. (My video showing the db meter didn't work...)

No idea what the CADR is. On "max" the fan should be "~450 CFM"", but there's no way it's getting that through the levoit filters it has. I would guess 200-250 cfm CADR? This would be about on par with a Taotronics AP003, but about 1/4 the size.

Could be better with Medify MA-15 filters. (That's increase filter area by 30% or so.)

The thing is a dust-magnet. I vacuumed the dust filters off after a few days.
(Or the bedroom was a dust-generator? We vacuum the floor, I promise! Maybe the down duvet?)
