Many experiments on Twitter/X and in science journals highlight that clear air delivery rate matters more than filtration. I did a simulation to explain. So, how does a restrictive HEPA (99.9%) filter compare to a MERV13 (70%) furnace filter? Spoiler: HEPA loses
This is designed to show a 2d room. We introduce "smoke", then let it mix for a bit, then turn on filters to clear it. The HEPA filter (99.9% efficient) cuts a nice, small path of clean air, whereas the MERV filter (70% efficient) removes more smoke throughout the room.

#crbox designed for travel. Packs into a suitcase with room for clothes and gives (estimated) 200-350 cfm cadr (raw is 632 cfm) Assembles and packs in < 5 mins. No tape. At 350 cfm it’s loud. But can easily turn down. Can be powered by 12v usbc. Assembly video next
Assembly video for small CR box for travel. Total assembly time < 5 mins.
I think there are a few of us who want a small #CRbox that would fit in an airplane carryon for a hotel.
Here's a recent attempt.
It's small (8" by 8" by 8")! And can pack up very small. But it's loud.
(Hint to Manufacturers: Price... $199-249, variable CADR rate 100 (<= 45 db @ 1meter) - 300 (<= 65 db @ 1meter), easily packs into "flat-ish" a 5-7L volume <= 10" on a side, assembly less than 3 minutes. ... oh, I can dream!)
