Apoorvanand's article is less about Kavitha Krishnan & more about the collapse of faith in Marxism itself.

Yet even with the clear collapse of Communism & its evils fully exposed, there is no desire to call a spade, a spade.

Forget the collapse of the Soviet Union, the state of Cuba or the travails of Venezuela... China is such a stunning example of Communism's failure.

A Communist dictatorship under Mao, takes a 180° turn to capitalism under Deng.

Not a democratic capitalism which works in fits & starts, somewhat responsive to the warring claims of its citizens.

In China it is a ferociously organised dictatorship under the one party CCP, which oppressively and dictatorially pushes relentless capitalist

policies for 4 decades, to take China from a dirt poor country to one of the world's leading nations.

This is an even worse confirmation of Communism's failure.

Fast forward to 2022 and with the re-assertion of his absolute authority, Comrade Xi & the CCP

seem to have set China on a precipitous path to its economic isolation & fall.

What is the conclusion?

A state in virtual collapse under Communism is transformed in 4 short decades thru capitalism, under the same Communist regime.

And by 2022 it is already clear that re-assertion of Communist dogma is already pushing China into isolation, aggression & a downward spiral.

The conclusions are:

* Marxism has spectacularly failed.

* Like Islam, the indoctrination is so powerful and so dinned

into the head, that followers simply don't know how to outgrow it or let go the crutch.

They are too invested in it to completely let go. It's an existential thing.

That's the problem Kavitha faces &, if you sift through all the bilge in the article, Apporvanand faces.
