Lycoris Recoil Episode 11
Some developments were easy to predict but they still looked cool as here with character confronting one another and scenes that simply looked badass. Majima's seiyuu has made a wonderful performance today. We're approaching the end.
It would have been anticlimatic to say fareweel to characters without them achieving any specific goal so Kurumi using her legendary skills to find out that there is another heart was most likely her role and also I feel that everyone expected there to be heart anyway.
What was good from Takina throughout episode is that she was constantly trying to find Chisato instead of being Lycoris. At the beginning of story Chisato said that if Takina thinks her place is in DA then that's up her choice and now we see that she put Chisato over mission.
This was such a obvious outcome but it was impactful mostly due to Yoshitsugu Matsuoka's performance. Majima surely made something that would not be easily hidden. That scene with civilian shooting Lycoris and her killing him in the process. He certainly exposed DA for sure.
Majima knew Chisato weakness and he used it well. One being her exraordinary skills to predict trajectory of bullet but also her no killing policy and used it against her. I thought there would be a scene when Chisato would be put in such position, not like its unexpected.
Majima's talent was showcased during flashback where we could see him with a blindfold during terrorist attack and if his vision was impaired then his hearing would enhance. Now its proven. That whole scene made Majima so much more menacing. Good stuff.
This is gonna become such an iconic scene, simple and great. Takina smashing through to save Chisato by also in the process enlightening the room which makes fighting in this situation easier. 2 episodes left and I don't think everyone will reach the finish line.

Lycoris Recoil twitter account has surpassed Madoka which is the biggest anime original property. Its unprecedented for anime original series to blew up this much. There is argument to be made that Twitter wasn't as popular in 2010 as it is now but still amazing achievement.
Streaming wise its doing great, popularity is booming, spin-off novels are being sold out, Kojima is promoting and the BD hasn't even dropped yet and its expected to bring huge numbers. I don't think anyone could have predicted just how massive this would get.
If we look at earlier example there is Sk8 which was also very popular and did exremely well to the point that it got a season 2.
Now I am definitely sensing the speedrun to finish line. I have a feeling that many stuff is just left unexplained because it was either established prior or never properly stated but with that said it appears final battle has begun. Only few weeks till Summer Time Rendering ends
I was confident its gonna be the last loop but somehow it wasn't with Shinpei killing himself but taking Ushio with him to have better chances at taking down Haine. Clever idea and it uses concepts established prior in series. That image is quite funny but also cute.
Baiting Haine with a copy of a weapon that she can sense to lure her to take down. This was also a concept that we knew could happen but it felt way too easy for Haine to be defeated in such way, still you could see intensivity of scenes but they, I feel lacked time.
New Light Novel titled "Monster Holic" by Ghost Mikawa and Miwano Rag
City where people can return to their primal form by the use of drug distributed by a pharmaceutical company. MC is a Vampire who along his Werewolf friend are Cleaners who exterminate vermins and solve cases.

The use of drug itself is not the problem its what people would get after they possibly get addicted to it. The point is for humans to freely turn into beasts but some have been using it to commit crimes. Each chapter focuses on a different one. First being a hit and run Centaur.
In a society where wealth and degeneration is a symbol of status.
Where those in power are selfish beings who only satisfy their needs.
Where death is a daily routine and you may easly lose your life.
There is no place to put our modern days morals.
In this cruel world.
They lust in their desires and use the power which they haven't obtained through their efforts but rather by schemes, deception, betrayals, corruption.
They care not about the well being of the commoners and are instead focused on doubling their influence, no matter the cost.
Slave markets, smugglers are running rampant in this world and the nobles do use them in order to buy people who would suit their needs, one such example are the Greyrats and their affection to Beastfolk.
Those that work for them have been enslaved and taken away from their home.
Classroom of the Elite Volume 3
Beginning of the part where people got invested into the franchise.
Many things were changed or simplified in the anime but I enjoyed Ichinose scenes the most I think. There is something charming about t.
The known Ayanokoji quote? Similliar.
I can't fathom enough how butchered the anime is compare to LN. We know how many things were reordered but it really is very cruel. I think introducing way too many characters was a big mistake from anime also Ichinose took a big hit.
The ominous yet mysterious well known quote of Ayanokoji in the book is not as terrifying and shocking like in anime. As many have pointed out in LN he feels human but doesn't understand how emotions work also? Zero mentions of White Room nor flashbacks.
Classroom of the Elite volume 2
Quite a lot of differences compare to the anime, most noteably the appearence of Ichinose is heavily downplayed in anime than here. I feel like Ayanokoji comes of differently than previously. Sakura stayed the same. Oh and Karuizawa had 1 line.
The best moment of the entire volume was how Ichinose sindehandely got the issue of C class boys resolved. The anime surely changed the heroine here but I feel like novels with our B girl handed it well better. Hell Ichinose's involvement in class D in anime seems weird.
The weirdest chapter as definitely the one where Ike and Yamauchi were fantasizing about girls and having a bet of who would get the girl faster. It was entire short chapter dedicated to it but served as a relief.
I don't rate volumes but I enjoyed it more than first.
