Decorum is always valued and should be mandatory. Upbringing really matters. There is never any excuse for bad manners. #LifeLessons
People are not judged by their money or status. They are judged by their conduct. Money doesn’t buy class neither does success. #LifeLessons
Family is sacred. It is one’s private space. Those that diss their family in public simply exhibit bad upbringing. If one can’t be discreet, one is happy to plaster drama in public which is very distasteful.
A person that can’t respect one’s own family can hardly be expected to respect anyone else. Washing any kind of dirty laundry in public is unbecoming.
One can better one’s life if there is a conscious effort made to move beyond the present environment. Give a pig a rose garden, it will still prefer filth. That’s the natural environment. #LifeLessons
Your choices of the past don’t define you today. They are the past. Your ability/inability to move/ not move beyond them does.
A fancy vocabulary or intense words don’t mean anything if they are not backed by actions. Values like consistency, loyalty, trust, kindness, humility, generosity, empathy matter much more.

When we wrote #TheNewGlobalOrder we needed to undertake a crazy amount of research. Global mapping is a huge task. As we went back centuries, systems of government and explored the relation between wars and trade.. it was eye opening.
Some of it we were aware of. But seeing it come alive was both exhilarating and humbling. One of the biggest learning was we don’t really know anything. There are far bigger powerful factors at play which operate in the shadows. Through centuries, MO has changed.
All wars have been about trade. Scratch the surface deep enough & you will find it. Look deeper & you will find the funders. The funders don’t operate by 5 min charts and 15 EMA. They are here for the long haul. They know how to play. They can take hits we can’t imagine.

On Monday $ fell to its lowest level in a basket of currencies bucking its recent trend as investors have grown nervous ahead of US inflation data with other Central Banks like ECB/ BOE etc adopting a more hawkish stand. This will determine the extent of the next Fed rate hike.
So far the US economy exhibiting resilience with multiple data points pointing towards a probable softer landing than a recession has helped the dollar index strengthen.
India has been bucking the trend with the Rupee depreciating against the dollar on account of global sentiments but strengthening against other currencies. The rupee’s ability to stem the fall with RBI looking at holding the figure of 80 seems to be paying off along with other

Why Bootstrapping is better. Unicorn funding works on valuation. We have seen how most have tumbled. Losing value. So many Ed techs are going broke, layoffs etc. Unicorns that launched ipos have lost huge valuation. Why ? The focus has been on valuation.
It’s simple. When a VC comes on board, the promoter seeks good valuation; The VC seeks returns.. later on the promoter buys back his stake at an agreed price, or the VC offloads his stake at investment into x to another fund or the public via IPO. Now, obviously since the VC
Is in for profit at that point, he doesn’t care about cash burn but more about multiples of return on exit. So cash burn and projected revenue form the basis for valuation which is then sold to the retail investor. If instead the ficus was on value creation vs valuation, what we

#FathersDay2022 Childhood memories, temple visits, Tirupati, trains..food, flowers, fun. A man of few words & silent strength. Generous and helpful to all with a smile no matter how exhausted. #Memories
This modern pseudo feminism trend I don’t get. Fathers worked hard, shared their good fortune with the entire family. Never made it an I thing. Both partners did their duty. The woman was the nurturer.
There are such wonderful attributes in being a woman. She’s a nourisher, nurturer, a mother, a sister, a wife. A woman doesn’t need to adopt any manly traits to appear strong. She is born strong. That’s why she carries the child & gives birth.

Crows have great memory. They remember faces. Can easily identify who’s a threat. On observation, one will notice they also have individual personalities - some playful, some serious…
Over time they get familiar. Once they know you’re not a threat .. you get the opportunity to see their unique personalities. It’s a beautiful experience.
