Today as UNHRC opens, meet 🇶🇦 Qatar's new Ambassador, Hend Al-Muftah. She's the nominee to head the UN Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law. But 1 little problem: she's a rabid antisemite and anti-gay bigot. Exposed in new UN Watch report: unwatch.org/report-qatar-u…

7/ Qatar's @halmuftah promotes conspiracy Israel knew about & implicated in Al Qaeda attack: “Was Israel aware of the terrorist attack? The evidence is that it evacuated its citizens from Sinai 3 days [before]. What is new in the meanness of the Zionists!”
8/ Then she says that Israel may actually have created the terrorist group: “Al-Qaeda… Israel hangs over every terrorist act… and after years we will read that Al-Qaeda was either made by Israel…or it was just an illusion!”
9/ Qatar's UN Ambassador @halmuftah agrees with a commenter that Israel “has hidden hands in every country.” In her words, “the Zionists have actually succeeded in distracting the world from our main cause, which is Palestine and their criminal violations!”
10/ Al-Muftah shares text by notorious antisemite accusing “the Talmud tribe and the Protocols tribe” — i.e., the Jews — of infecting Western civilization and liberalism with “obscenity and decadence, cocaine, crack, nudity, sex and violence.”
11/ Jews are “termites of that civilization” that “eat it from the inside,” a tribe “planning for a thousand years to destroy this world and dominate it.” Jews are “an enemy we must expose in all its ways.” Al-Muftah adds, “I advise all young people to read it! Don’t be fooled!”
12/ For Qatar's U.N. human rights ambassador, her life-long hatred of Jews as enemies has gone so far as to include calls for violence. Last year, Al-Muftah wrote: “Oh God… turn the Zionists away from them, blind their eyes and paralyze their hands…”
13/ Qatar's U.N. human rights Ambassador Hend Al-Muftah tweets “BBC Correspondent says MOSSAD did 9/11” and shares a video of antisemite Alan Hart saying that Israel’s Mossad “and the Zionists and the Neocons” helped orchestrate the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
14/ In 2016, the same Alan Hart quoted by @halmuftah wrote: “The outrage of concerned & caring citizens around the world would speed up the transformation of anti-Israelism into anti-Semitism, making another great turning against Jews inevitable, leading to a second holocaust.”
15/ In 2014, Qatar's nominee for the UN democracy post accused Israel of a “massacre” for responding to 4,000 Hamas rockets, as she posted caricatures with classically antisemitic tropes about Jews controlling world leaders.
15/ The Qatari candidate to be Chair of the United Nations Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law also hates gays. She calls for "God's curse" upon gays, and also upon those who "encouraged them."
16/ In June 2018, Qatar's ambassador @halmuftah again called on God to curse gays. Admiring Russia at the 2018 World Cup for opposing gays — presumably with Qatar's own 2022 World Cup hosting in mind, she exclaimed: "May God curse them!” #2022WorldCup
17/ Although the United Nations has emphasized that gays have human rights, Qatar's UNHRC ambassador Al-Muftah calls gay rights “Disgusting rights!”
18/ In response to a UN plea for gay rights in Africa, Qatar's current UNHRC ambassador Al-Muftah told the UN to "stay away from Middle East and Arab countries, keep your rights for your people."
19/ Days later, citing a news report that debate about homosexuality in Islam is beginning, Qatar's UNHRC ambassador Hend Al-Muftah again warned: "Stay away from Islam, don't U understand???"

No joke: 🇶🇦 Qatar nominated to head U.N.'s Forum on Human Rights, Democracy & Rule of Law.

Credentials: Caused 6,750 migrant workers to die for 2022 World Cup; oppresses women; supports terrorists including Al Qaeda in Syria, the Taliban, Jihadis in Libya & Somalia, and Hamas.
Here is a copy of Qatar's nomination of their envoy, Hend Abdalrahman Al-Muftah, faxed to the UNHRC on Wednesday. Qatar’s GDP dwarfs that of Bahamas & Togo, its two competitors for the post, and the petro-dictatorship is expected to easily clinch the appointment to be made soon.
Qatar already sits as a member state of the U.N. Human Rights Council, two thirds of which are non-democracies like China, Cuba, Libya, Eritrea, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Venezuela. This appointment will be another nail in the coffin.

Madam Minister: Bravo for your strong words. But I am confused why you shared a thread that shifts it on CMAC “to rectify the situation” with 🇨🇦-funded antisemite Laith Marouf, because i just put CMAC's tel in Whatsapp and it shows a photo of...Marouf & his wife. They. Are. CMAC.
Your government gave $600,000 to Laith Marouf—money he described as his livelihood—as he sat in Beirut tweeting calls to murder Jews & appearing non-stop on Iran & Russia state TV urging Hezbollah to destroy Israel. You hired him to teach anti-racism. This is on you — not “CMAC.”
And yet at this late stage in the scandal you just tweeted out a thread by your party colleague absurdly asking CMAC (Marouf) “to answer how they hired Laith Marouf,” for an “in-depth explanation on their plans to rectify the situation” & an apology from the lifelong antisemite.
