This story is really going to stay with me. There is so much to consider about Trump's narcissistic personality and what a snob he was and his deep need to be surrounded by celebrities and rich people, irrespective of their origin. He was always close with the Saudis,for example.

And Trump was always in the quid pro quo pocket of Russia. Does everyone forget that he was impeached over Ukraine and what he did with Zelenskyy? Just because Robert Mueller was a weak, ineffectual special prosecutor doesn't mean that investigation shouldn't have been done.

Oh.
It seems Erin Burnett refused to get the new CNN bothsides chip implanted while she was on vacation and has come out swinging against Trump and his theft of classified documents from the White House.

Instead she's asking why DOJ hasn't already moved against Judge Cannon's outrageous decision and cites Bill Barr "tripling down" on how wrong Cannon's ruling is. She followed this story with a story on GOP attempts to cheat in GA elections and has Gabe Sterling as her guest.

Burnett asks Sterling how afraid Trump should be in terms of the grand jury. Sterling says the 2020 election is over and says Biden is president and says sometimes you just need to admit you lost and move on and that's part of election integrity.

Throughout the Trump years Kaitlyn Collins regularly chased Trump out of the briefing room with her incisive bull's eye q's that made him name call her in tweets. Brianna Keilar b*tch slapped Trump's stooges frequently and ordered Peter Navarro off her broadcast for lying.

Erin Burnett called Trump a liar more than any other news anchor. She and Keilar each had segments devoted to showing clips of Trump's lies. Burnett has been MIA for a few weeks,on vacation or perhaps refusing to have the new bothsides chip implanted. But Poppy Harlow. Sigh.

August 26 is the 6th anniversary of my being paralyzed. This is my story. I have never adjusted to it, I have never stopped being angry about it, I have never stopped hoping I would somehow recover. I have been having PTSD flashbacks of that day and the trauma for hours.

I am paralyzed because I was prescribed a drug that had not been tested on women and which has side-effects of spinal and other paralyzing bleeds. I am paralyzed because the first hospital where I spent 4 days ignored my pain and told me to "take Tylenol and walk it off."

The pain was like the last hour of labor. It was as bad as abdominal surgery. I thought I might go mad from it. The first hospital knew from the scans they did that I had a huge blood clot in my left upper thigh and another in the middle of my posterior abdominal wall.

Those who are actually poor (as opposed to cosplaying poverty) try hard to pretend to be middle class. The lengths my mother went to to make us look middle class by making our clothes or teaching me (the oldest) at the thrift store how to find the best clothes w/designer labels.

The daily instruction when we were younger on how to speak, breeding that Philadelphia accent out of our pronunciation and giving us vocabulary tests. She wanted us to pass better, because when she went to Wellesley on scholarship with her handmade clothes, she didn't.

So much of our childhood was framed by my parents having grown up in deep poverty and their internalized rage over how that restricted them. But it also gave them superb left, anti-racist politics. Which was a far better gift to us than those dreaded thrift store outings.
