Is suppose to cover any room type when sum insured is more than 50 Lacs which is mentioned on website, policy wordings, brochures and all literatures clearly says any room rent category selection for 50 lacs sum insured. If insurers are allowed to be selective in room category
then it's fooling customers who after being taken into surgery come to know that their insurer won't allow despite paying all the expensive premium that the product so called says.

After insisting a lot and fighting the whole day claims team from hdfc responded with the following image. To cover up they say Suite room isn't essentials. Can someone clarify this ? Image
So the fight went on and on through the day and then finally @HDFCERGOGIC accepted they don't have tie up beyond deluxe room. Again reminding buyer beware. Even sometbing like that can happen with you. Image
So because of hdfc s non tie up beyond deluxe room the client has to suffer and here the insurer wud process cashless and reimbursement under same claim. Process unknown to anyone in the system. As insured my point of debate as right i should get the room type
I want as i paid for the exuberant premiums and my family suffers because of someone's stupidity. I shouldn't be misled by policy wordings. Hope the right ears are listening.
