When we wrote #TheNewGlobalOrder we needed to undertake a crazy amount of research. Global mapping is a huge task. As we went back centuries, systems of government and explored the relation between wars and trade.. it was eye opening.
Some of it we were aware of. But seeing it come alive was both exhilarating and humbling. One of the biggest learning was we don’t really know anything. There are far bigger powerful factors at play which operate in the shadows. Through centuries, MO has changed.
All wars have been about trade. Scratch the surface deep enough & you will find it. Look deeper & you will find the funders. The funders don’t operate by 5 min charts and 15 EMA. They are here for the long haul. They know how to play. They can take hits we can’t imagine.
One wants to understand the concept of deep pockets - the market id the best place to learn that. That’s why true wealth is build in the long term via investing.
The market doesn’t operate on technicals, history, data, fundamentals alone. They are only pointers. Lagging pointers. By the time we factor them in .. it’s a new sunrise. The biggest indicator & the only truth is price. #BhaavBhagwanChe
In my limited learning so far, sitting with veterans I have learnt one thing constantly. No one can predict with certainty what will happen tomorrow. One should not even attempt to cultivate that arrogance. Instead try to listen to what the market says instead of thinking it will
Do what we tell it to do because we got X calls right. Finally, we must always remember that there are bigger powers that can influence immediate events in front of whom we are not even a speck. So, there’s no need for ego or this I obsession.
