I'm exhausted after each court day, but today I'm something else as well: energised! I have to interpret this physical reaction as a growing optimism on Hodlonaut's behalf.
Hodlonaut came out really well in cross-interrogation. He maintained a calm demeanour, spoke clearly and articulately, kept a respectful tone. Wright's side had surprisingly weak arguments against him, nothing that made much of an impression.
Manshaus appeared uncomfortable at times. What has he gotten his prestigious firm into?
Wright was his usual disasterly self. One thing is his unstable demeanour, his wild tangents that have to be curtailed by lawyers for both sides and the judge alike. I expect the autism expert to cover for that later.
No, the real disaster is his completely unbelievable explanations for all the manipulated documents. The kicker came when the judge asked what is on everyone's mind: wouldn't it be simpler to just sign publicly, instead of all this?
Haukaas was at his top game today. He got Wright into several difficult situations during cross-examination. He appeared well-prepared and alert. More of this, thank you!
