There’s always all this talk of “What did Jesus look like?” It’s silly. And racist. And, not surprisingly, white people’s fault.

Confucius lived in China 500 years before Jesus. No one has a global debate about what Confucius looked like. We know what people in China look like. He looked like that.

Buddha lived in India 500 years before Jesus. No one has a global debate about what Buddha looked like. We know what people in India look like. He looked like that.

But they (the “western white Christian” world) always ask: “What did Jesus look like?” They even write books about it.

Here’s the thing though. Jesus was from Palestine. He was born in Palestine. He lived his life in Palestine. He died in Palestine.

Also, people have lived continuously in Palestine since he was there.

So… ummm… just look at them.

This is not a subject that needs years (or even hours) of academic and archaeological research.

Go to Nazareth. Look at the Palestinians there. That’s it.

Research project over.

First, we had white people trying to make Jesus white, erasing Palestinian history.

Now, we have “woke” white people saying, “Wait guys, I did the research. Maybe he wasn’t white.” (Liberal heroism)

Wow, thanks. But this also erases Palestinian history.

We Palestinians could have saved you all the time.

See all those 30-something Palestinian men that Israel throws in jail without due process, without charges, and without basic rights?

That’s what Jesus looked like.
