Someone asked me why I call Meghan Princess, instead of Duchess.

And the answer is: because I can.

Titles have never resonated with me. They are no more than social agreement to call someone something. It’s NOT real in any sense.

Today people agree to call you Prince.
Tomorrow they agree to call you King. They could just as easily agree NOT to do that.

A title does not make you something. It makes people call you something (if they want to).

I choose to go off of courtesy,as is my prerogative.

So, if Harry is a Prince,his life partner
is a Princess. Period.
They act like it, so they are. To me.

That’s why Camilla is always gonna be just Camilla, and Andrew is always gonna be “that sick perv,” to me.

I honestly don’t care what part of English territory they are supposed to control in order to have their
title. It means absolutely nothing to me.

Harry a Prince. Meghan a Princess.

That’s it. And peace & blessings to them both.

This is a really enlightening thread.

Basically, it’s point is that because mostly old aggrieved white people are the ones watching 24/7 news, the news has to cater to their grievances, rather than inform the public (I nutshellize).

Something that makes little sense to me is
why we put so much money into political ads for a shrinking TV demographic (but I digress).

The point is, CNN is not about news, it’s about profit. And tearing our country apart to make profit is perfectly cool with Mr. Licht.

Personally, I think it’s super important that
they stop calling themselves the most trusted name in news, and start calling themselves the most desperate platform in advertising.

In any event, CNN is dead to me. They made a call, and it will either work or it won’t.

Is it true that Armenia is provisioning and supplying Russia in the unprovoked war against Ukraine?

Because if it is, I am incredibly shocked and disappointed.

I am an American who happened to be born in Turkey. I grew up with a love of that country, and yet
I have NEVER hesitated to stand with the Armenian diaspora in demanding recognition of the genocide of the Armenian people by Turkey. NEVER.

So what, is genocide of Armenians a travesty but genocide of Ukrainians OK? Is that what’s going on here?

Never would I have thought
that Armenia would side with Russia in any conflict, let alone help Russian engage in the exact war crimes and genocide that befell the Armenian people (far worse, actually).

You can’t have it both ways. You can decry genocide when it happened to your people, but help Russia

Of CNN both tweeted the exact same thing about Biden’s speech,

focusing on the backdrop and not one word of the content?

It’s almost as if they were given the talking point by their boss, akin to RNC group message
tactics.

That’s not journalism, or even editorial opinion. That’s propaganda and deception.

America counted on CNN to inform them about the NEWS, the content of what the President had to say.

But because CNN’s new handler was personally irritated by the content, he told
his underlings not to talk about that, but to make the news cycle about the optics.

And to do so with ZERO concern about their hypocrisy, given how many GOP presidents have used similar backdrops in the past.

We now have to two bedrock social contracts under full assault by the GOP:

Social Security and public education.

It’s time to renew our full throated and unwavering support of both.

What we have learned is that public education cannot be left to the states, or worse,
municipalities, because the fate of our children gets decided by selfish, racist and inequitable partisans.

We have had education apartheid in this country from AGES, and the reason is because local tax bases and leaders determine the quality of a child’s education.
It has ALWAYS been a ridiculous way to do education. And it needs to stop.

The answer is to federalize public education, by building and servicing federal schools all across the country, in every neighborhood.

Absolutely I-N-S-A-N-E that DFG has not been charged and arrested.

Every time Merrick Garland comes out and says “no one is above the law,”

tell him to FUVK OFF!! HE is the one placing a deranged treasonous buffoon above not just the law, but above our national

Let’s get clear:

Your rights as a human being do NOT derive from the Constitution, the Magna Carta, the Bible or any other document.

They derive from your existence in and amongst other human beings.

While, throughout history, the acceptance and recognition of this fact
has had to evolve because of the evolution of the minds of those who wielded the power to trample on or enforce those rights,

the rights themselves were and forever shall be the appurtenant to your humanity.

That is why Alito is EFFED in the head. If ANY of us have the right
to bodily autonomy, ALL OF US do! At all times. Full stop.

Just because rights have been ignored, abused, denied or trampled on, does not mean they do not exist.

All PEOPLE are, in fact, created equal. Not with the same talents,or skills, but with the same rights to develop
