As can be seen from the ticker Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Everton, Fulham, West Ham, Newcastle and Leicester all have great fixtures and are teams worth considering.

Now we will discuss players that we are considering for all of our Wildcard drafts. Essentially a spine to build your WC team around:

𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗸𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰 (£6.9m)

𝗘𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 (£12.0)

Not much needs to be said to justify the inclusion of this seasons FPL top scorer.

You would be crazy not to include this highly owned (79.7%) player considering his captaincy potential and form he is in.

𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘆𝗻𝗲 (£12.2m)

✶ With Salah moving out of our team for the short term future who better to slot into the premium midfield role than KDB.

✶ We strongly believe Salah will be back in our team and KDB gives us the flexibility to move back when form

and fixtures are once again in Salah's favour.

✶ KDB is the beating heart of the Man City midfield and we back him to keep building momentum after a great start to the campaign.

✶ Our only concern is minutes on the pitch with fixture congestion ahead.

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗼𝗽𝗲 (£5.1m) & 𝗞𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿 ($5.3m)

✶ Perfect time to pivot our managerless double Brighton defence into Newcastle assets with a great run of fixtures.

✶Trippier has a very high ceiling adding goals and assists to his CS potential.

✶ Pope tops the list for saves made this season and save ratio.

𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼 (£7.1m)

✶ Man City dominate possession and have conceded the least shots on targets and have the lowest xG conceded.
✶ Lowest risk of rotation
✶ Attacking threat - looks to be playing in a more advanced role once again.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

As it stands we are leaning towards the balanced draft. Our team is currently well positioned at 140k overall and we don't need to take unnecessary risks.

This plus a heavy congestion of fixtures for the teams in Europe means we believe its best to spread

funds across multiple assets while concentrating on players that provide value from clubs that are not competing in Europe with favourable fixtures.

Zaha and Maddison are good examples of these types of players.

Our plan is to minimise the need for hits over the next few game weeks leading into GW17 when our bonus world cup wildcard will be triggered. We will also monitor Isak and KDB and look to switch over to Toney and Salah when necessary.
