Reflections on day 4. #WeAreAllHodlonaut

Today's witnesses attracted a larger audience on both sides. I enjoyed seeing and meeting more bitcoiners, and still encourage more to show up!

The videos from Hodlonaut's side were old news to many, but they are a good selection of crazy and now the judge has seen them.

As expected, Hodlonaut's witnesses all did a great job. I thought Halseth would talk about Lightning, but instead he picked Sartre apart. Of course Wright would say yes it was fraud, but only to sabotage badman McGregor. Still shows Wright will use fraud as a tool.

Manshaus' questioning of Hodlonaut's witnesses were repetitive, boring and weak. His attempts to show that hashtagging is cyber bullying is going nowhere, and yet it seems to be so central to their defence.

Wright's star witness, Stefan Matthews, is the epitome of "social proof". This man has nothing except his just-so stories. I was frustrated at myself for being unable to keep up with his descriptions of corporate buy-outs, IP transfer etc. It's all so tangled and not my area.

I have no legal background, but I'm sure the criticism Myklebust received from the judge during cross-examination of Matthews was not a good look. This was the closest to an American-style "objection, your honor!" moment we've had so far.

Jenkins was only there to speak warmly of Wright. Wright sat back with his nose in the air, his "I can hear that you're praising me, please keep going" posture. Spending so much time going through the finer details of Jenkins' career felt like wasted time.

In general, Wright's side always seems to get more time for questioning. I suppose they need it because "social proof" requires lots of long and emotional storytelling, while real proof can get straight to the point.

Finally, thanks to all who tipped me sats today, and to all who show appreciation in other ways! Many Bitcoin things have stopped surprising me, but not the generosity and unity among bitcoiners.
