Underrated aspect of Martha’s Vineyard meltdown today: The funding for transporting illegal aliens to sanctuary jurisdictions was a highlight of the budget @GovRonDeSantis signed MONTHS ago. Dem legislators performing outrage today voted for it 🤡
Promises made, promises kept.
Always one step ahead 😎
“Context” = Democrats desperate attempts at PR spin.
Almost every Dem, from Lauren Book to Anna Eskamani, voted for the budget & funding for the transport of illegal aliens out of Florida. Now they’re pretending to be PUZZLED and SHOCKED that it actually happened 🤡
Here are all the Florida house reps and senators who voted for this year’s budget, including the funding for transporting illegal migrants out of Florida into sanctuary states.
Almost every Dem voted for it. Now they’re calling @GovRonDeSantis a criminal for following through😂
Yes, you read that right.
Every single one of these Democrat legislators voted for exactly what they’re feigning outrage at today.
Oops, another one! This is Charlie Crist surrogate Annette Taddeo, who has spent the entire day virtue signaling and performing outrage in front of cameras about something she voted for

Of course it’s fake. The clip of DeSantis is from 2020 when he was responding to a question about Florida police executing a felony search warrant at the home of a fired state employee who had a documented arrest history of physical violence against police.
The subject of that 2020 warrant, Rebekah Jones, was home when FDLE/TallahasseePD knocked on her door. They waited patiently outside for 25min while she yelled at her husband to “call Chris Cuomo” & setup her camera to capture a BIDEN HIRE ME sign in the background of the “raid”
This is not a matter of dispute. Literally all of it is on video. The full FDLE body cam footage is public; Chris Cuomo/Biden Hire Me stuff is visible in videos Jones herself put on YouTube.
Jones’ FL arrest/Baker Act record is public like her LA charges for battery on police.
Hi @jackshafer! FYI, you are wrong about the reason @GovRonDeSantis doesn’t talk to liberal media, including Politico. He isn’t worried about “negative press”; you’re always negative.
It’s just that he doesn’t care.
And he doesn’t want to give you clicks or ratings.
As a media reporter for Politico, I am sure @jackshafer understands why we wouldn’t “cooperate with the New Yorker”. @GovRonDeSantis giving them an interview would’ve allowed a liberal activist to break news, self promote, and make money off #DeSantisForClicks. We aren’t playing.
Sorry @jackshafer but no, we don’t need this. Media get MORE obsessive when we don’t talk to them.
Nobody trusts “mainstream” media anymore. Everyone uses social media.
Also, @GovRonDeSantis does press conferences and TV channels in FL live stream. Your gatekeeper days are over
The White House @PressSec & @McClatchyDC are both spreading disinformation. NOTHING has “reversed” or changed. The State of Florida is not placing any orders of covid shots for 0-5 year old babies & kids.
What they have couched as a reversal is actually the Governor’s steadfast position that the State of Florida does not recommend nor distribute shots for babies. Any healthcare provider that wants the vaccines can obtain them and any parent who wants it for their child can get it.
No state policy change in Florida. The only thing that’s changed was the federal government (FDA) issued the EUA for the shots today.
Obviously, there must be FDA approval or an EUA for the system to process orders from healthcare providers.
In addition to the obviously biased framing here, @washingtonpost AGAIN made a factual error that is easily checked. The FY 22-23 budget recently signed by @GovRonDeSantis is NOT $101.5 billion. It's easy to find the actual number. 30 seconds on Google. What are reporters for?
Also, @washingtonpost - Gov. DeSantis was asked on Friday why he vetoed the Rays facility funding, and he responded that taxpayers shouldn't be funding professional sports stadiums. This is his long-held position; any real fiscal conservative would say the same thing.
@washingtonpost Finally, it's odd editorializing to frame enforcement of the state law as a "threat." Florida has a law against vaccine passports. The Department of Health enforces this law, and DOH sent a letter to SOI informing them that their policy is unlawful & could therefore incur a fine.
I’m still blocked, so I can’t respond to Gregg’s tweets about me, but I stand by what I said. Gregg is notorious for constantly & vehemently attacking the Great Barrington Declaration & its signatories. The whole point of GBD was to oppose lockdowns. Hence, Gregg is pro-lockdown
Here’s a receipt, in case anyone is curious. Gregg thanks Francis Collins for attacking the GBD.
This insane article is in @sciam. The person who wrote it, without a hint of irony, is a *professor in public health* at the University of California-San Francisco. She does not know what a “normal distribution” in statistics is. I am no scientist but learned that in high school.
Here’s the full article archived, for those who can’t believe that it is real: archive.is/RiBtr
How many other influential “public health experts” — amplified by publications like Scientific American — are ignorant of basic, college freshman level statistics? Might this help explain the catastrophic Covid response?
