Drone warfare using UAVs is increasing around the world, and that means increased training relating to drones and counter-UAS operations #DroneWars
For instance on Sept 13 a member of the 51st Security Forces Squadron defender, called in "a possible drone sighting during a training scenario at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea...The scenario trained defenders on their ability to identify and effectively respond"
"Defenders assigned to the 51st Security Forces Squadron respond to a drone sighting during a “Defend the Base” training scenario at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 13, 2022."
In Sweden a member of the Swedish Marines, with 4th Boat Training Company, 2d Swedish Marine Battalion, demonstrates to US Marines, with Mobile Reconnaissance Company, 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, the procedures on how to deploy an RQ-20 Puma
Using a "reconnaissance drone from a moving boat over open water, during exercise Archipelago Endeavor 2022 (AE22), at Berga Naval Base, Sweden, Sept. 14, 2022. AE22 is an integrated field training exercise that increases operational capability and enhances strategic cooperation"
They "deployed an RQ-20 Puma unmanned aerial system from a Swedish group boat, testing reconnaissance capabilities across the maritime domain, during exercise Archipelago Endeavor 2022 (AE22), at Berga Naval Base, Sweden, Sept. 14, 2022."
In another case a US Air Force Staff Sgt from the 8th Civil Engineer Squadron, small unmanned aircraft system (sUAS) noncommissioned officer in charge, spoke with wing inspection team members during a training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 11, 2022.
"The sUAS is a multi-purpose aircraft, used to provide reconnaissance and intelligence as well as to rapidly analyze airfield damage."
The training event enabled "Airmen to hone their skills in a simulated environment to prepare for real-world situations."
Also US Air Force Airmen assigned to the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team reviewed a drone scenario during Exercise Beverly Sunrise 22-06 at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug, 31, 2022.
"Agile Combat Employment is a warfighting concept that will increase survivability and allow for the generation of combat power despite enemy attempts at saturation attacks on forward airfields."

How come a talking point in the West, particularly the US, is always "how many of us are willing to go fight and die for _____(choose a country/place)"...while adversaries never have these talking points. Like in China they never ask "how many of us are willing to die for this"
It's an illogical talking point to always phrase every issue in this manner of "well we shouldn't give security guarantees to ____ because then we might have to die fighting for it, and who will really do that"...when the adversary never seems to ask this question.
Obviously most people, when it's put bluntly, don't want to go die on any battlefield. I'm sure even in the West some of them wouldn't agree to sacrifice lives for some part of their own country...just because the question is phrased wrong.
You notice the Iran regime leader doesn’t get asked about the Holocaust by media in non-western countries…basically he only gets a red carpet to deny the Holocaust from western media, which then puts up the short clip for clicks…it’s about western media profit off this
Some Western media spreads antisemitism by bringing on non-western leaders who are then asked about the Shoah so they can either deny or equivocate so as to legitimize their views and spread them widely. They don’t give these talking points at home. Only in English
It’s a sadly, carefully and oddly orchestrated campaign to amplify Holocaust denial by leaders in Iran or the former leader of Malaysia…the more they deny and “question” the more platforms in the West
The responses to the Tehran regime leader's Holocaust denial, usually range from anger over the denial to people saying "the Holocaust happened," without interrogating 2 issues. 1. Why was he given a platform to push disinformation and hate 2. Why is the Iranian regime like this
The first question is question about why major media gives platforms to Iran's regime. It's a choice and the same choice used to be made in the old days when Malaysia had a denier at the helm; he got endless invites.
I think universities and some media like to let authoritarians and deniers have a platform to push this denial when they know they can't push it themselves...and they don't want to interview local neo-nazis...to it's like "oh look Iran's regime says this"
Today this is called ethnic cleansing and authoritarians who do it should be charged with crimes against humanity...oddly back in the 1970s this was allowed to happen without any real consequences for Amin or his backers like Gaddafi
We are always supposed to pretend it was normal that the behavior of Gaddafi, Amin and all the fellow travellers, was acceptable...they all got applause at the UN and held court...in the 1990s then the international community suddenly noticed war crimes in the Balkans
I remember when I was a kid in the 1980s and 1990s people like Amin were still alive living in luxury in exile...their victims still alive...and Gadaffi was always allowed to travel to the West, countries even courted him...and yet we heard about "human rights"
Maybe the Moscow talking point, fed to some in the West, about how Russia was just worried about NATO expansion and was “provoked” conservatives…was actually nonsense and Moscow’s real goals were not related to NATO.
Most of the Russia excusing articles in the west have pushed canards about Ukraine and Russia…such as the threat of “nuclear war”…as in “OMG…the US shouldn’t tangle with nuclear armed Russia”….
Or there was the “no fly zone” talking point…about how it could “provoke a nuclear war”…or the “new Cold War” talking point about how “US is pushing a new Cold War”…notice they never blame Moscow, always the West
The funny thing is that then you will read an article about how Turkey and Russia are destined to be rivals and the US has to work with Ankara against Moscow….or even more bizarre to work with Russia against China…and no one asks Moscow and Ankara…who are all smiles together
Some others just write and repeat what they want to be true…their analysis is simplistic or Cold War era concepts….I look at what happens and see the smiles and who meets who and have argued for years that Turkey and Russia are partners and both work closely with Iran. Reality
