The hacker has now said that he will sell GTA 5's source code and assets and will not accept any offers under 5 figures.
GTA 6 source code is "not for sale at this moment" #GTA6
Update on the bitcoin purchase - The hacker has confirmed it wasn't his address and someone has been scammed using his name.
But the fact that someone is willing to hand over $100K like that is... scary.
This feels like it's going to be a long ride.
The hackers account has now been deleted on telegram.
Unconfirmed reports from 40 minutes ago suggest that the hacker deleted it because his location might have been compromised.
The hacker also appeared on GTA Forums 48 minutes ago and without posting an update (previously last visited 6 hours ago).
The plot thickens.
Take Two has requested has the GTAforum remove the thread containing the leaked information. In addition, the hackers account now has 0 posts that are live.
Several Twitter accounts appearing to be the hacker have also popped up, but all seem to be impersonators.

The amount of people saying that GTA 6 looks terrible is actually frightening. You're looking at a game build that's over a year old and won't be released for another what, 2 years?
I'm obviously fine with leaks, but I tend to keep it to information only (maybe a little drawing here and there) for a reason... And this is why.
I feel really bad for Rockstar right now.
"They deserve for not giving us anything"
How self-entitled can you be, really?
The reality is they owe you nothing and you're not playing it until 2024-2025 anyway. If the source code/dev build leaks, it'll probably be longer than that.
- Schedule for release in 2023
- Is a "competitive" FPS - But similar to Escape From Tarkov
- At it's core, the goal is to join a map, loot weapons, gear etc. and extract successfully.
- Items that you successfully extract can be sold in the games marketplace for the games own cryptocurrency (that you can then trade for other crypto/money if you wanted).
- The game also has a map creator, where people can create their own unique EFT-like maps.
- Creators of these maps will get rewarded with the games crypto the more their map is played.
- Devs on the project have worked on the likes of Halo, The Division, and Call of Duty.
- The game is being "advised" by top FPS influencers.
The studio was working on an open-world space game after the release of Beyond: Two Souls. The project was dubbed "Project Karma" and eventually turned to "Project Solstice" - The game had been in development for around 2 years.
Project Karma/Solstice was eventually cancelled as Sony wanted their third and final title in collaboration with Quantic Dream to be on a Detroit: Become Human Kara demo that Quantic had created. Quantic Dream was also having game engine difficulties with an open-world game.
Detroit: Become Human originally had 4 protagonists, with the fourth protagonist being a "whore android" that had blonde hair and huge boobs... I'm not joking.
This fourth protagonist and some of the scenarios with it resulted in Sony wanting to wrap up the 3 game deal ASAP.
In #SkullAndBones, there are 5 tiers of ships (small, medium, large etc.) and are categorized into three different categories. Cargo, Combat, and Exploration.
Unlocking different ships are tied to blueprints, which you can buy at different settlements.
Buying a blueprint isn't the only hurdle though, as you'll need the right amount of resources such as wood, metal and fibre to build your ship.
A bigger ship doesn't mean a better ship either, as smaller ships are more nimble and can go where bigger ships can't.
An example given was that a smaller ship might outrun a bigger ship by staying close to the shore or going up a river because the bigger ships would get beached on the bottom of shallow waters.
