1. Nigerians don’t have a lot of real life role models. Growing up in Nigeria can be a very difficult childhood experience. You are faced with a moral dilemma. You start to believe there’s something wrong with u. You begin to envisage emancipation. IT’S A SAD STORY, WALK WITH ME.
2. You come face to face with lies told by old men to perpetuate their subjugation of the young. By a stroke of luck, sort of a miracle, you’ll manage to escape from Nigeria. It is called “becoming.” A slow but effective indoctrination of the young into LEARNED HELPLESSNESS.
3. At age 14, you learn Evolution & Adaptation. Your basic instincts becomes sharp. You learn fast, evolve & adapt. You develop native senses. Your curiosity amplifies. You question your sanity & existence. Nigeria will stretch your patience & endurance ad infinitum.
4. At 14, you are in an Asylum, detoxication won’t happen in the here & now. You’re now a prisoner. Now you are BECOMING… Darwins Theory of “Natural Selection” begins. Survival of the fittest kicks in, now it’s you against the World. This is the time you are most vulnerable.
5. You greet the Jungle where everything gets eaten. Growing up in Nigeria, u learn many things against your will, & u must learn fast. No room for complacency & laziness. Life is already hard, u don’t want a missed call. At 14, if you’re not smart, U MAY THINK NIGERIA IS NORMAL.
6. At adolescence, you witness first hand, the brutality that is Nigeria, & its pervasive zero accountability. You’re either running from the police, or the army at the Lekki Tollgate. Nigeria has wrecked many lives. She goes into town enslaving good people against their will. 😭
7. Nigeria is BIG TOWN with many wreckages. Escape from Nigeria is not so easy. A prison is built to keep people in. So for most “Soro Soke” Generation who just experienced their “rite of passage,” escape from Nigeria is sometimes a forlorn hope, survival is the priority.
8. Nigeria is an unending panorama of wrecked lives, people who were conscripted, not drafted. The young fight many battles, most of us end up not winning the war. That is when the notion of libertas begins to grow. The #EndSARS Protests is a struggle so close to home.
9. For most Nigerians, being young is fragility & vulnerability, life is a constant struggle. Epiphany sets in, you begin to ask questions. In your small circle of youthful camaraderie, you begin to envisage escape. But there are obstacles. You have no money or means. 😭😭
10. The internet becomes your best friend, you spend long hours researching every Japa route. You visit immigration for your passport, then u realize there are no booklets, & u may have to wait for months to get it. The frustrations becomes even more visible. Now what? What next?
11. You become more & more irrational, brash & easily irritated on the social media. It’s u against the world, u feel like everyone is against u. Nigeria messes with your psyche in ways u cannot describe. You feel so alone, yet the noise around you keeps getting bigger & bigger.
12. You can’t keep your emotions in check, I mean, how could you? It is not your fault, Nigeria amplifies your troubles, how can you possibly control the variables & the outcome? It’s such a horrible nightmares young Nigerians face everyday. IT DOESN’T END HERE!!
13. You come online & see old men like Festus Keyamo, Sam Omatseye & Adams Oshiomole telling barefaced lies. Then it depresses & drives you crazy seeing your age mates supporting the corrupt & senile gerontocrats. HOW DID WE GET HERE? We learn to live in pieces in Nigeria. 😭
14. Nigeria offers your misery or death, choose, it matters not Nigeria. She is a wreckage underground, many lives lay waste at the bottom. Parts of your youthful lives is subjected to brutality in its extremest. What possible crime did we commit to deserve all of these abuses?
15. Haven’t we paid enough price already? What will it take for Nigeria to love us? What can we possibly do to gain our freedom? It’s so indescribable, the emotional torture & physical pains Nigeria inflicts on us. However, in the midst of it all, the youths found a RAY OF HOPE,
16. a single light shinning bright in the darkness, illuminating all of the colors of the rainbow by day. But Nigeria is doing its best to quench the fire in our hearts. WE WON’T LET THEM!! We have found our long lost voices. We ain’t our parents, & WE ARE NOT AFRAID ANYMORE!! ✊
17. We won’t let Peter Obi slip through our fingers. He didn’t come easy, finding Peter was a really difficult task. So it is going to take more than bigotry & hate to stop us. Away from that, Nigerians see the magic act of benevolence of their politicians as some act of charity.
18. But the truth is, deliverables is your right, not some privilege. The president & your governors are not doing u any favors by constructing those substandard roads & bridges. In fact, become very greedy, u have every right to make demands. They give u 10? u should ask for 20.
19. Normalize making demands & putting pressure on ur politicians. There must be consequences for bad behavior. Punish the bad eggs & reward the good ones, at the polls. That’s exactly how Nigeria will grow. Don’t be a sycophant. Become Oliver Twist, ask for more! It is ur RIGHT!
20. Finally, remember that we battle not against flesh & blood, but against principalities & powers, & wickedness in high places. Don’t forget why we fight & what we fight for. Do also remember we are the majority, they can’t stop us. Collect ur PVCs & prepare for battle. ✊

1. There are no shortage of manifestos in Nigeria. Go to archives, u have a treasure trove of nicely written manifestos. So it is not about manifestos, we’ve gone past that stage. Any rookie or idle economist can put a Policy Document together. Have your coffee & WALK WITH ME.
2. So it’s about total commitment & the sincerity of purpose which are Peter Obi’s USPs. We don’t just want a THIRD PARTY Policy Document like the mumbo jumbo Atiku is parading, Obi wants to sell his own brain, & implement his own Original Ideas. That’s the way forward.
3. Enough of manifestos, tell Nigerians what u will do, but do that from the top of your head, NO WRITTEN THIRD PARTY SPEECHES. We need to assess what’s in your head, & know if it’s empty or loaded with Agbado. As marketers, sell urselves to us. We can only buy the best product.

MY People, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!

1. There’s nothing left for Peter Obi to say. He’s said it all. So pay no heed to the naysayers, our gaze is now towards the Official Campaigns commencing on the 28th of this month. Their candidates wont talk to Nigerians. WALK WITH ME.
2. While Atiku is still parading his 2019 obsolete “third party” Policy document he doesn’t even have the permission to use, Tinubu is hiding inside the cupboard shouting “Emi lo kan.” So forget the sore losers. If they have anything meaningful to say, they would have said it!!
3. On Zain Asher’s CNN interview, there is so much to unpack from the few nuggets dished out by Peter Obi. Apart from saying he’ll use the scarce resources to support the critical areas of production; ranging from infrastructure to education, in the shortest possible time frame,

1. Shettima said & I quote; “I was misquoted on Abacha’s hospitality, Nigeria needs his ruthlessness.” Now as much as BAT is a threat, Kashim is a bigger threat to you. Abacha will become a saint under his watch. But afflictions will never rise again! God forbid BATing.
2. It’s either Shettima is working against Tinubu, or they’re in cahoots. Why would anyone mention Abacha’s Era as a typical exemplar of their plans for Nigerians? Maybe NADECO approves what Shettima says? You have enough red flags & warnings. I hope your tribalism is worth it?
3. Shettima made matters worse. He is saying Nigerians need Abacha’s ruthlessness. Nigerians, you don’t need another strongman. You need someone with emotional intelligence, love & empathy. Who won’t trample on your rights nor send the army to crush you. THAT PERSON IS PETER OBI.

1. There should be stiffer Laws that says the houses (hotels, homes & businesses) of Nigerian politicians convicted for corruption, must be demolished. Poor Nigerians should not be the only ones paying very stiff penalties for violations. Am I making sense? WALK WITH ME.
2. Lagos auctioning off poor people’s cars in a Third World Country, is not the best way to enforce traffic laws. Nigeria is the Multidimensional Poverty Capital of the world, that means that law enforcement should apply “emotional intelligence.”
3. Contrary to your POV, Nigeria is no US nor the UK, incomes & service delivery are not the same. I understand the law is the law & must be obeyed, I get that! But for Christ’s sake! Per Capita Income in Nigeria is less than $2500, & these are some of the poorest people you have

1. It was mid-19th century, the Victorian Era was underway. The English embarked on a journey they called, the “Victorian Purpose” for Africa. One of the chief antagonists of that expedition was Cecil John Rhodes. He was unorthodox, “the maverick’s Maverick.” WALK WITH ME.
2. Rhodes did as he pleased, & only told the politicians in London later. He called the English - “God’s divine vessels in carrying out his own ideas.” But David Livingstone had entirely different idea. Livingstone believed that imperialists had a duty to help the “unfortunate.” ImageImage
3. He was literally the first white man to cross the continent of Africa. While Livingstone saw himself as a servant to Namibians, Rhodes had other ideas. Rhodes once said to his men; “Africa is ready for us, it’s our duty to take it.” He was the buccaneer, brash & brutal.
