BDO and Cyfor witnessed for Hodlonaut. Well no, formally they were Wright's witnesses, but incredibly they shared KPMG's findings and even praised their report. Their remarks centered around methodology, and came off rather lightweight.
Manshaus pressed on the white paper hash differences, trying to ascribe it to sloppy KPMG work. I had no impression that any of that stuck; instead it felt like grasping at straws. Witnesses themselves largely discounted this.
It turned out that BDO, one of the world's largest professional services companies, weren't going to sacrifice their reputation for Wright. This turned into a major self-own for him.
The closing arguments from Hodlonaut's side were a whirlwind summary of all the evidence we've seen against Wright over the last week. Receiving it in such a compressed form is overwhelming – there's so much falsification that it's hard to take all of it in.
The next (and final) court date is on Wednesday, giving the judge extra time to digest everything from today before Wright's side gives their own closing remarks.
In spite of optimism, let's not get complacent now. The case has not been won. Let's continue to cover the proceedings with equal force and continue to show Hodlonaut that his fight is our fight.
