ESG wobbles as reality imposes itself.

Divest ESG now!
One of the main premises of ESG and 'stranded assets' is that companies that fail to disclose risks to investors, for e.g. from climate change itself, or from climate policy, will face litigation.

ESG firms and campaigns have much greater liability in this respect.
Did ESG lobbyists and activist shareholders properly enumerate the risks of ESG, or did they fraudulently mislead investors and companies? Did they profit from it? What if the ESG bubble bursts, making ESG assets "stranded"?
Banks that do not leave #GFANZ will risk ultimately being understood as party to a massive and illegitimate wealth transfer, and to a collapse of industries and economic wealth, perhaps unrecoverably.

He didn't. He claimed it. But there was no evidence for it.

Best not to dwell on claims that have no evidence, and stick to the facts: there was no need for Putin to fund green groups that harmed the UK, because they were already doing it and Ed Miliband was right among them.
Who funded anti-fracking groups?

British, American and European billionaires.

We have the receipts.

Moscow funding would have and could have made no difference.
Here, for example, is a list of donors to the European Climate Foundation in 2020/2021.

This is the organisation and the funders that are behind nearly all green lobbying, which they do either through the ECF or through other pass-through funds or directly.

Does anybody believe that @Ed_Miliband could even wire a plug, let alone design the UK's energy policy?

We are now living with the legacy of destructive green ideology that he epitomised in office and he's doubling down on it.
@Ed_Miliband This is the problem.

This is the leaders of Westminster parties signing a pledge not to allow the public a say on, not to represent the public's interests and not to debate energy policy, but to do what the green blob tells them. Image
Here is that agreement.

It cemented the already in-place cross-party Westminster consensus. Image

And Putin is saying that his deterrence message needs to get through to NATO.

We have just as much to fear from NATO's unpredictability and intransigence.
None of them have a clue. They just get invited on to make stuff up.

Meanwhile, amid an energy crisis, the BBC is also running unhinged anti fracking propaganda.

Except David Attenborough was wrong, wasn't he.

And the "thousands of people" who "model, measure and test" didn't stop the claims of imminent Arctic sea ice loss -- and other things.

Maybe when "thousands of people model, measure and test" they're not doing science.
I wouldn't put it as strongly as 'grown'. Minimum sea ice extent does though seem to have shown increases over the lowest record, which was 25% of the entire record ago. And this doesn't seem much out of kilter with the rapid and radical changes recorded through the C20th. Image
If I were Dr Dr Dr Dr Dr Adam Dr Dr, I would be less concerned with what naughty sceptics like Toby (and me) said, and more concerned with getting Arctic sea ice researchers to stop getting drunk on their own research.

They are too easily shown to be wrong.

The @bmj_latest's office is home to a BMJ-Extinction Rebellion joint venture.

Like @TheLancet, the BMJ decided to squander its historical prestige and scientific authority on a political project, eschewing science, reason and debate.
@bmj_latest @TheLancet If the "fossil fuel industry’s financing of universities" troubles you, with or without any evidence that such funding influences the outcome of research, then you should take care to examine UK research organisations' vulnerability to green billionaires...
@bmj_latest @TheLancet Because they really do attach strings to their funding.

And whereas fossil fuels are useful -- as everybody understandings -- forcing society's transition from their use is dangerous and requires a radical transformation of society, including the dismantling of democracy.
