For most Leftists, politics is defined by a moralistic Culture War of "left vs. right." But for Marxists, politics is a class struggle btw the people and the elite. That is why #MAGACommunism is so important. It is a tool that allows us to break through the left/right divide.
The "left/right" political spectrum is rooted in the superstructure of bourgeois society, emerging historically during the French Revolution. In this sense, the left and the right can be seen as two wings of capital. They exist to obscure the underlying class contradictions. 1/
The "left/right" political spectrum inevitably leads to a Culture War rather than a class struggle. It polarizes society and divides the working-class up into opposing camps based on their political beliefs, rather than on their objective location in the class structure. 2/
Dividing society on the basis of political ideology serves the interests of the capitalist ruling-class, because it keeps the masses fighting each other over who has the correct "ideology" and therefore leaves the fundamental nature of class society unchallenged. 3/
Most of today's "socialists" view politics on a spectrum, rather than as a class struggle. They see themselves as being "further to the left" of mainstream liberals. They accept the legitimacy of the "left/right" political spectrum. This leads them to betray the working-class. 4/
Most "socialists" are just moralistic liberals. They believe their left-wing values make them more enlightened than the "deplorable" masses. These "socialists" only seek to organize the workers who espouse the "correct" ideology, while dismissing half the country as "evil." 5/
This is why leftists interpret the slogan "Make American Great Again" as a cry of cultural resentment, racism, etc. rather than as a call by the disenfranchised masses to re-industrialize America in the way it was prior to neoliberal globalization. 6/
Leftists see the majority of US workers as irredeemable fascists who cannot be organized bc they hold the "wrong" ideology. This leads leftists to embrace authoritarian neoliberal capitalist state institutions to defend against the populist masses who they profile as "Nazis" 7/
The result is that the American Left plays its role in upholding the neoliberal capitalist-state and injecting it with moral legitimacy against the filthy unwashed masses of "deplorable" workers. Leftists offer no solution; just endless conflict and culture war. 8/
#MAGACommunism is the only way out of this mess. It allows us to transcend the left/right political spectrum. To unite the working-class on the basis of shared material interests, rather than keep us divided based on culture, moralism, or political ideology. 9/
We can see clearly that #MAGACommunism has struck a nerve by the hysterical way that the professional leftist pundits have reacted to it. These paid propagandists want to keep us divided & polarized. They fear a populist movement that unites the masses. But we will win! 10/10

Marxists recognize many of the problems with policing, but we cannot simply "abolish the police" under capitalism, bc policing evolved to respond to specific contradictions that exist in capitalist society, such as crime, maintaining order, protecting property, etc.
Bourgeois society creates competition btw workers over scarce resources. This competition and artificial scarcity leads to conflict, violence, and crime. Police serve a social function in maintaining order by responding to the interpersonal crime that is caused by capitalism. 1/
If anarcho-liberals succeeded in abolishing the police as an institution, competition, scarcity, and petty crime would still exist in capitalist society. If there are no more police officers, who would be responsible for addressing these underlying problems? 2/

Leftists love talking about "abolishing" this or that social institution. Marx never used the term "abolish." He instead used the German term "aufheben," which refers to something that is dialectically superseded, but with elements of the old continuing to exist within the new.
This distinction is important. "Abolition" is an anarchist concept rooted in idealism. It assumes we can simply destroy a social institution (such as policing) and the problems associated with it will simply disappear. 1/
Marx understood that society is a product of a long process of historical-development. For example, feudalism gave way to capitalism, but vestiges of the feudalism still exist in the capitalism. Likewise, once capitalism gives way to communism, trace elements will remain. 2/
