It’s absolutely his best film since Moulin Rouge.
When you think of the myth of “Elvis Presley” he’s a man that is torn between two homes: Graceland and Las Vegas. One is heaven to Elvis, one is hell, and considering those two cities are where his myth still lives, the film asks you to decide where Elvis ended up.
“Every person that I’ve worked with from my lawyer to my publicist to my wife told me not to post a response” is definitely a way to start your response.
I literally stopped reading after that opening because it’s just too perfect.
