2/ Please read this thread to understand what day-to-day problems these forces widows face. This thread is an eye opener to all those who 'collect' money using 'forces widows' and are convinced that throwing some money will solve all problems of a forces widow. No it does not.
3/ Did you read the 11 tweets of the thread I mentioned in first tweet? You must if you want to understand what I am writing now. The SDM 'VISITED'(this must shock many) this widows home to "understand" what exactly the problem was. He asked her to write a letter to him.
4/ I drafted the letter and guided her thereafter. Yesterday, 21 Sep, the update was:
1. The Block Development Officer, a Junior Engineer and the Patwari visited her few days after her letter was received.
2. A new pipeline was laid by them upto her fields.

4. Water was released to check the flow was proper.
5. All of above was done after the owners of land over which the pipe was lain were made to attend.
6. Instructions were passed that this government project is by order of state authorities.

7/ All we do is day-in-and-and -day-out abuse civil administration. I find the civilian government officials at all levels extremely helpful towards forces widows. Why shouldnt the SMD, BDO, JE and Patwari be thanked for their help to the widow? All I did was to 'guide' the widow
