Firstly, the good: @oliviachow and @shelleycarroll have taken the political risk of raising property taxes to shore up finances. We support the change!

We believe this puts Toronto in a good bargaining position with the Feds for justifiable reasons. (2/X).
But politics is POLITICAL. We understand why the Feds might be mad about this.
