FWIW, Heartline and Medical News Today disagree with your classification.

5th week

“The developing heart is made up of two tubes that have fused in the middle, creating a trunk with four tubes branching off.

The heart begins to beat, and it may be possible to detect it” w US.
This attempt to protect Stacey Abrams is expected from Democratic activists, just not from the WaPo fact-checking chief.

Though I suppose there’s an argument to be made that they are one in the same.

A fetal heartbeat is not a “misnomer”. It is beating, it’s just not developed.
It is the logic Kessler employs to bail out Abrams that is used to justify abortion even up to the final month.

If we don’t recognize babies with organs and appendages that aren’t fully developed into what we recognize in ourselves, then we can justify ending their lives.

As Laura pointed out, where exactly does it end using that logic?

Fully developed babies aren’t fully developed humans. So, as Ralph Northam once openly stated in a radio interview, should they also be subject to the decision a woman makes with her doctor after birth?
It simply does not pass any test of logic to think of a heart beat in terms of the number of developed valves.

It’s rather silly if you think about it.

Even after birth the four valves and the entire heart are still developing, a reason why murmurs often clear up on their own.
Thread Update: Evita Duffy gets it. The logic @GlennKesslerWP employs to defend @staceyabrams is flawed and not scientifically sound.

It does, however, exemplify the worldview used to justify even beyond the unfettered abortion position because hearts develop well after birth.

Good morning, Eastern North Carolina!

Listen to Talk 96.3 / 103.7 at 8:30am EST. I’ll be joing Patrick Johnson and we’ll be discussing the midterm elections!
The North Carolina Police Benevolent Association endorsed @TedBuddNC after backing former NC State Supreme Court chief justice @CheriBeasleyNC in her judicial elections.

NCPBA President David Rose specifically cited the impact the issue of illegal immigration has had on crime.
“Ted Budd understands the risks and dangers law enforcement officers face every day here in NC, or at the US Southern border, which now impacts all 100 counties in NC,” Rose stated in a press release announcing the endorsement.

Speaking of Nate Cohen, let’s examine this retweet and explore why he is still releasing RV samples even though his LV samples are abysmal too.

Are we seriously expect to equate these two forecasts?

That would be incredibly STUPID and unjustified.

Let’s observe.
They are asking us to be suspicious of forecasts claiming REPs have roughly the same chance of taking the House than those forecasts have to Hillary to win the presidency in 2016.

Folks, just when I though Nate Cohen and others couldn’t get more hackish/shillish…

Nothing about 2016 other than the polls suggested DEMs would hold the WH. It’s extremely rare fundamentally for a party to hold three terms.

However, this is a first term incumbent midterm, in which only one modern in-party power gained seats.

Lastly, there are no…

Only two days ago, @AAAnews wrote this, "IS IT THE END OF THE ROAD FOR FALLING GAS PRICES?"

They argued the rate of decline was slowing and that could be a bad sign.

Falling gas prices outside CA were fueled by states switching to a cheaper winter blend. gasprices.aaa.com/is-it-the-end-…

Donald Trump: "@TimRyan is a militant left-winger who is lying to your faces, acting as though he's my friend on policy, pretending to be a moderate so he can get elected and betray you on everything."

"He recently called on his supporters to 'kill MAGA'".

That landed.
Trump follows it up with, "It's total bullshit."
I can identify with that. My wife yells at me when I use that word, too. But sometimes, despite a fairly deep vocabulary, there's just no word better than "bullshit" to describe so much of what we hear and see.

1. Rich white people in Martha's Vineyard get the National Guard and FEMA for 50 illegals relocated to their personal paradise.

Hazleton, PA was ruined by massive relocations and a judge blocked them from enforcing the Illegal Immigration Relief Act Ordinance.
2. By 2007, when the town council in Hazleton, PA, began fighting back against massive relocations, one-third of the entire town's population of 31,000 was illegal immigrants relocated against the will of the citizens.

But Hazleton is poor. Martha's Vineyard is rich.
3. At the time the federal judge who probably vacations in Martha's Vineyard blocked Hazleton, PA, from enforcing the Illegal Immigration Relief Act Ordinance, 31 other towns were declaring similar crisis and 10 more had adopted similar laws to fight "declining quality of life".

Two underachievers, with @Nate_Cohn at least being cautious and attempting to learn from his mistakes, and the other being the paid-for loser @NateSilver538, who has failed every single year since Obama stopped giving him polling data.

I find this hilarious!

LMAO!
At least @Nate_Cohn appears (appears) to have some degree of humility, perhaps because he's tired of being embarrassed.

But not @NateSilver538.

This is his way of telling Nate Cohn to get his ass back on the plantation.

Pappas Obamas willz R surez be upset with youz.
One last thing...

@NateSilver538 doesn't have "fundamentals index".

He has "I'm a poll reader, and a bad one at that index".

Because of course, in Wisconsin and Ohio, the actual predictive "fundamentals" suggest Johnson and Vance will win.

This act is just old now, Slimer.
