Let me lay it out in black and white (and a little yellow) why Bigot is in fact the proper and exact way to define the behavior of so many people these days. This from the OED. 
What I find incredible is how the very people who are text book bigots find it perfectly acceptable to mock and laugh at you when you point out the obvious. Why incredible? Because I could have sworn we had successfully made it societally unacceptable to advocate for bigotry.
Apparently it takes just one generation and a good dose of fear and state endorsed hatred to not only undo real progress but accelerate a regressive path that feels even more fueled and funded by people who not only have never met you, they view you as less than.
Too late to simply pump the breaks. #No
