Let’s discuss this Stacey Abrams Black men narrative with facts:

On August 11, Yahoo publishes the below article and references the July AJC Poll and states that Stacey only has 80% of the Black Male Vote.

FYI I see no evidence if this in the poll.

The Root also states this in their reporting, with the same link to the July AJC poll in the article titled “The Jolt: Stacey Abrams underperforming with Black voters in AJC poll”

Stay with me cause Black male % given in the article doesn’t make sense to me.

Below is the results from the GA AJC July poll. Stacey is at 80% overall with Black voters but it’s not broken down by Black males vs Black females as you can see. There is an article that accompanies this data see link.

There is some weird twitter operation happening against Stacey Abrams and it’s gross. It’s the same cast of characters behind the VP ain’t Black op, who have very little real world influence, but are manipulating people online against her. It’s sad to see.

There are real criticism about Stacey’s campaign that people have but just wanting her to lose just because is stupid. In July, a poll came out where she was at 80% with the Black voters and she saw the data. She has done events and put out a plan. Kudos to her for listening.

In 2018 exit polls Stacey got about 89-92% of the Black male vote. Not sure where this 80% Black male voter number came from but that is misinformation. She needs to do as good or better in November. Black women will turn out that is a given but she needs more people.

I am actually amazed by how much enthusiasm Charlie Crist picked up in the last 5 months. He has gone places I didn’t think he would and gained trust that was once broken with many Florida Dems. It’s pretty impressive. His staff has done a great job.
