Last week, at a Congressional hearing on climate misinformation, experts falsely claimed that hurricanes would become more frequent and that New York was moving away from nat gas. Gas & oil increased from 77-89% of power (2020-21) and scientists forecast less frequent hurricanes.
A member of Congress claimed that there was no war on oil & gas because oil & gas companies are making record profits. But that's ridiculous. The reason for the record profits is due to high prices due to the shortage of supply, which is due to the war on oil & gas.
We are in the worst energy crisis in 50 years. Russia's invasion of Ukraine worsened it, but it has been underway since the summer of 2021. Rather than increase energy production, Democrats are actively seeking to censor their opponents.
Meanwhile, Congressional Democrats and their expert witnesses, as the above videos prove, are actively spreading misinformation about extreme weather events, the electricity mix, and the cause of high energy prices & profits.
Biden officials frequently spread climate misinformation. Here's White House spokesperson John Kirby on July 19, 2022, falsely claiming "natural disasters... are getting worse because of climate change." He also wrongly attributes the war in Syria to climate change.
The same energy expert who falsely claimed New York was moving away from natural gas said she knew which nations were the largest producers of oil and gas, but she didn't. She was confident, however, that "We need to phase out fossil fuels to alleviate fossil fuel racism."
The other expert witnesses claimed to care about air pollution, but their war on nat gas has increased the use of coal, kerosene, and wood. Poor people are hurt the most. But the industrial and national security of the entire West is threatened by energy scarcity.
Biden, the Democrats, and their witnesses are effectively demanding that the US become as dependent on China as Europe became on Russia for energy. What's driving them is an anti-civilization religion. Playtime is over. Their pro-scarcity policies threaten our national security.
Receipts:
- Weather-related disasters *declining*
- Hurricanes anticipated to become *less frequent*
- No trend of increasing drought
- Europe produced more gas than Russia exported 15 years ago

People think the energy crisis is just a blip in the transition to renewables, but it's not. Europe faces rapid de-industrialization & stagflation. Governments are taking over energy markets and politics is the realm of chaos. People who are in a trance need to snap out of it.
European nations are already in conflict
— Netherlands refuses to produce more nat gas
— Belgium & Germany closing nuclear plants
— France opposes new gas pipeline to Spain
— Hungary says sanctions on Russia backfired
U.S. & Canada won't help & winter is still 3 months away
I have since 2016 warned Europeans of the dangers of shutting down their nuclear plants & over-relying on Russia for energy.
While in Europe 2 weeks ago, I was shocked to discover that many still don't get that everything has changed. And so I went off script & was blunt.
Democratic leaders say they are trying to get out the truth about climate change & energy, but several have recently made false claims about natural disasters, the causes of oil industry profits, and the consequences of their policies. Why is that?
President Joe Biden, spokespersons for his administration, and Congressional Democrats say they are trying to get out the truth about energy and climate change against Republican and fossil fuel efforts to deny it.
Over the summer, Biden denied he was “limiting oil production” and accused oil refiners of restricting production. In July, WH Nat Sec spokesperson John Kirby said, “natural disasters... are getting worse because of climate change," which, he said, had caused the war in Syria.
Many think lithium batteries are benign but they kill more people than nuclear plants. A fire at a Tesla battery site in California last week forced people to shelter indoors and now a fire at a Tesla factory in Germany has activists demanding its closure. electrek.co/2022/09/26/fir…
A few days ago a fire started by a battery in an electric scooter killed an 8-year-old girl in New York City. In New York alone, lithium battery fires in 2021 killed 3 and injured 57, while in the first half of 2022, they killed 5 people and injured 73.
A fire last Tuesday at a Tesla battery facility in Moss Landing in Monterey County, California emitted so much toxic smoke that the Fire and Sheriff Departments issued a shelter-in-place order, asking people to close windows and vents, and closed roads
Just now, one of the finest tennis players of all time, Roger Federer, was about to play his last match when this young climate activist ran onto the court and lit his arm on fire. Don't worry. He's fine. This is the face of climate narcissism
Apocalyptic environmentalism is a manifestation of exhibitionist narcissism. Adherents, like this young activist, demand to be recognized for their supposedly unique insight into the “climate emergency.” And they demand to be rewarded with cultural, economic, and political power.
In June, two Italian climate activists glued their hands to a Botticelli painting and rolled out a banner that read, “Last Generation No Gas No Coal.”
Then, and now, Italians are struggling to pay energy bills due to the lack of natural gas and coal.
A lot of people think “Wokeism” is just name-calling, but this dazzling new essay @AmericanAffrs shows how it it replaced class-based concerns on the Left thanks to rising prosperity, the power of the professional classes, and the manipulation of emotions
“By diverting the energy & attention of 2 classes of elites into an endless, zero‑sum conflict of symbols, identities, and lifestyles, in an immaterial realm of unfettered subjectivity, the culture war robs the Middle of the capacity to think in material, and institutional terms”
“It is comparable to Marx’s notion of religion as the “opiate of the masses”… except the culture war is not directed at the proletariat but at upper-middle-class elites, and unlike opium, its effect is not to sedate the targets into passivity but to excite them into rage”
