No masks in hospitals? Not a single justification has been made by the CDC.

It was just a decision made with, and for, the nursing home industry.

Fantastic thread!!

Going to chime in with some elastomeric respirators.

You will want to stick around!

🧵.
Elasto what? Elastomeric respirators are reusable respirators...can be used till the filters are hard to breathe through, then replace the filters.

In the long run?

Saving those
Nothing wrong with N95s...you can reuse them for about 40 hours, or until the straps no longer keep them tight to your face.

The elastos? Have beefier straps. Get a little loose? Tighten them up.

9000 ppm CO2? Means 22.6% of every breath Ms. Goodman is breathing?

Is air that she and everyone else there has had in their lungs.

Rebreathed CoViddy air.

Telogen effluvium, or hair loss, is a thing. H/T @DRTomlinsonEP.

That can hit you for any number of reasons. Including after CoVid.

Quick 🧵 on the little virus that could. But we wished it wouldn't.
Losing your hair is tough - so this study which is a review of 19 studies, includes the word 'harrowing' in its title.

Most importantly from the 19 studies it reviewed?

The loss of hair happens 74 days after the CoVid symptoms.

onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…
67.5% of those studies were female, and median age was 44.

So, imagine that. You've thanked your lucky stars long ago....and you notice you are thinning.

A lot. Because this is acute telogen effluvium (hair loss).

You go to your beautician/barber and they ask,

It's always the reception.

The Trump Rose Garden Super Spreader? The reception(s).

The White House Correspondent's Dinner? The reception(s).

Sunday, September 18, 2022, King Charles III held a reception at Buckingham Palace before the funeral.

Clean air. If you are indoors, the outside air will infiltrate into your house.

That's good to disperse the respiratory aerosols that carry CoVid.

But what if that outside air is cancer-causing?

Check your location (scroll down)

Quick 🧵
Not only can industrial facilities cause problems, but simply living along a flight path or near a street can result in polluted outside air because of UFPs. Ultra Fine Particles.

Got dirty air?

Clean it!

The cheapest and most cost-effective air cleaner is a DIY air cleaner that costs about $100, but performs as good as a $900 HEPA.
