Option 1 of 'Enlisting a Soldier' is a very familiar concept if you've ever seen or read about Horde or Spring Game.
You will simply possess a decaying NFT which you will need to maintain in order for it to continue producing rewards.

2 - Purchase a TENT (there are 4 tiers to choose from)
3 - Reveal your Soldier
4 - Maintain your Solider by buying AMMO
5 - Collect rewards
6 - Solider lifespan = 200% investment

Soldiers are spawned from TENTs, each TENT will have a different cost and spawn different ranks of soldiers.
Tier 1 / Infantry = 100 $KILL
Tier 2 / Rocketeer = 250 KILL
Tier 3 / Heavy Gunner = 400 KILL
Tier 4 / Sniper = 700 KILL

Let's do some calculations for the General Sniper Soldier.
Cost = 700 $KILL
Daily Rewards = 2.2%
Lifespan = 90.91 days
0.022 x 700 = 15.4 KILL per day
15.4 x 90.91 = 1400 KILL
91 KILL will need to be spent 3 times to reload the sniper.
Net income = 1400 - 700 - 273 = 427
Cost = 700 $KILL
Daily Rewards = 2.2%
Lifespan = 90.91 days
