DRDO conducted two successful test flights of Very Short Range Air Defence System (VSHORADS) missile on 27 Sep 2022 from a ground-based portable launcher from Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, off the coast of Odisha.

VSHORADS is a Man Portable Air Defence System (MANPAD) designed and developed indigenously by DRDO’s Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad in collaboration with other DRDO laboratories and Indian Industry Partners.

VSHORADS incorporates many novel technologies incl miniaturized Reaction Control System&integrated avionics, which have been successfully proven during tests. The missile, meant for neutralizing low-altitude aerial threats at short ranges is propelled by a dual thrust solid motor

4 people-mother, father & the 2 girls-live together. They're mentally ill & have psychological issues. They returned from Jeddah in 2018&were facing this since then. They've a brother, he's here: DCP Central Zone, Hyderabad on 2 women vandalising goddess Durga & Mother Mary idols

Last year on September 22nd, our CM Himanta Biswa Sarma took one of the toughest stand by burning 2,479 rhino horns to show the world community that these horns do not have any value: MK Yadava, PCCF & HoFF, Assam and Chief Wildlife Warden (1/2)

The ash collected from these horns, it was decided that we shall commemorate it, this event was a memorial to staff & frontline people on the fringe of forest who've given their lives for safety of rhinos & this entire memorial will be dedicated to them by CM: MK Yadava (2/2)
