What adhd feels like for me. Is this true for others #askadhd
1) bullet train wreck with cars scattered everywhere
2)White noise or the like on the loudest volume(20 badly tuned radio stations)
3)I need to physically do a million things at this precise second
4)I want to curl up into a ball on a rocking chair
5)too many tabs open and computer freezing, can’t close any tabs to find where a noise tab is
6)navigating 20 lanes of traffic without traffic lights, lines or signs
7)always behind, afraid of being seen as lazy and overworking to compensate until you burn out in a blaze of glory
8)and if told to “calm down”/“take a rest”/“leave for a bit” will see self as failure and that I did something wrong.
9)chaos in my head-messy in physical=brain
10)I cannot tell how long a task will take unless recently previously done it
11)cascade failure
12)if something goes wrong is my fault alone, I should have seen it
13) work at something the see it wasn’t perfect (minds image)
14) I quite literally want to blow my brain out to have peace and quiet. (Feeling/won’t really do it)
15) normal people have a train of thought. I have a roller coaster with jumps that send cat on another type of roller coaster
16) Hydra- one problem is taken care of,three more branch off
17) neurotypicals see ladder, I see an Inception(movie) made jungle gym dome
18) kaleidoscope
19)exhausted engine that won’t turn over
20) pinball machine
21) bees nest
22)flipping through tv channels but cat is walking over remote
23) rereading something over and over-either don’t understand it/something feels off(grammatical order)/what are these symbols and what do they mean
24) if someone’s not in the here and now they don’t exist. If I’m away from you and message you I’ve just remembered you exist/need something/actively thinking about you
