to use the occasion and honour the legendary career of undoubtedly, the greatest ever player in the history of #Macedonia? Also, not even a statement was released on the official website about Pandev's retirement, feel free to check, not a single word on his retirement, disgrace!

Everybody knows that the relationship between the federation and Goran Pandev is completely strained, but not even recognizing his retirement with a single post, statement or even a shirt gifted to him ahead of the match on Monday is a miserable behaviour by the federation.

You don't need to like Goran Pandev as a person or agree with his comments about the federation's decisions, but you simply can't ignore his football career and more importantly, his national team career and everything he did for Macedonian football over the past two decades.

Until we learn to appreciate our own legends, nothing will change as Goran Pandev's decision to retire was a huge talking point in the football world due to his achievements on the pitch.
